Many people have prepared for breakdown in society due to the avian flu, then the swine flu and now the economy. maybe there is something to all of that preparing. Check the video out. It is good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek8nx3SbHZg

Good point. I had thought stop writing about Survival because for now the flu is gone. Then it hit me- The flu is a p-ussy (grow up people- really) cat compared to Obama explaining to a Congress who wants to SCRAP THE WHOLE D.... current plan and rewrite it. You know-without the pork for votes. And if our boys and girl in the senate and congress could get off the partisan chariots and sit down like grown ups and write us a health plan constitution- what do you think? Are they up to it? Start over. Its like Bill (name drop) I told him- you keep building on the same loser thing and adding on more- scrap it. Start over. We are not where we were in the 80s. Survey says- the people would like something better. Not what the doctors want, or the health insurance companies, but the people who need good health care coverage and are going to have to pay for it. You talk about feeders in the general population- how about feeders which are sapping the taxpayers to death with huge procedures, patients, drugs, and stuff never even given and billed 4 times. Audit those crooks and make them pay the money back and we will be able to have something t work with. There will be a breakdown in 2010. Maybe several. I am going to quite writing if I look like a patch work doll by the time the meds are finished with me I will type with one cloth finger. Change. Change starts with an eraser. Medclinician |

One thing to keep in mind. If there is a breakdown for a period of time gold and silver will not be worth much. Food, gas and meds will be priceless. Gold and silver will get their value back later when the dust settles. Food, gas, oil, meds, power, clean water and comparable quality of living necessaties are going to be of great value. We are in an age where one can really prepare if they have some income. It is possible to live very well off the grid.
