The other day I looked at the CDC site and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were recommending people to stock up on a couple of weeks of food and needed medicine. Nothing that would prepare people to sip but if they needed to take care of a sick family member they could do so without leaving the house and exposing others.

Today I checked the CDC site and in the same place where that previous message had been there was a message saying that people should learn to cope with stress and anxiety.

I think they are trying to strike a balance between public health and panic. I would suggest that they could better prepare people while also not inducing panic.

Sorry, but WHO is the same organization that ranked the best health care system in the world (found in the US) far lower on the list primarily because it failed to tax people silly in order to provide "free" health care to 13 million of it's citizens while other countries ranked higher because they did provide "free" health care to an equivalent group but they failed to provide adequate health to the larger group comprised of all rest of the population. When health care is ranked based on how socialistic it is rather than on how responsive it is to the needs of the population we know that politics has won over sense.

Like we have all the money in the world to sit home, of course we will be taking care sick people, and also going to work, and shopping for food. My as***l CIO or CFO will not pay may or better fire me if I would tell them that I am home with a sick person.
Greed will do us all DeadAngry
