Northern Kentucky Animal Shelter Issuing Warning After Virus Outbreak

Distemper is highly contagious and often lethal (to dogs),  
This strain is strain is acquired from local wildlife (raccoons, foxes and skunks).  
Residents are strongly advised to get their pets vaccinated ASAP.
