This is the WHO site for the formula of rehydration salts.

Those who survived ebola in Nigeria (with poverty dictated healthcare) drank 1.3 gallons (5 litres) of rehydration mixture a day.

Reading through the stories, the following seem to be instrumental in recovery.

Antibodies: serum transfusion or Zmap
Rehydration treatments
Antiretroviral drugs
Protein and exercise (both of which limit the fluid leak into tissues)
Cytokine restriction - I can't remember which drugs.
A will to survive.  The disease exhausts its sufferers and rehydration takes an act of will from the patient.
