We are thinking about creating a weekly newsletter to be sent via email to all of the members. It would contain the latest news, panflu preparedness, etc.... We could also feature our advertisers on the newsletter as an additional option.
Also, feel free to locate your respective state forum and post a test message.

Albert,
I think it would be a great idea, when a person is gone for a couple days it is so hard to catch up. Also, people would forward that letter and it would get a lot of viewers and also bring new viewers in to this site.

Great idea. Like vstr said the forwarding would be the best.

Dear Albert~ This might be just the ticket...to send to the "non-preppers"...sent anonomously...of course...:) I have a whole list of folks I would love to send it to. I wonder if put in newsletter format if it might be more legitimate for them? I think the idea is great~
Sincerely, Becca

AFT has approximately 3000 emails on file so it makes sense to start sending a regular newsletter of some sort.

We could also retain a grant writing firm and apply for a federal grant under PandemicHelp.org. We would be the first entity to actually know what to do with the funds and how to properly use it. This would be a last resort, which we're almost to that point.

Albert,
I've been reading the posts on this site since late last year and I think this is one of the better ideas for getting the message to the masses. I would gladly pass the info to all of my friends and family. Great idea.
Blessings, Jo

Go Albert...Go Albert.........let me know if I can assist. I use to write newsletters for a few organizations.
This would be great for passing on to those less inclined to believe us "prepper nuts"

Anyone care to take on the project? We could open a dedicated thread and everybody can create it together if interested. RR, we could use the help.

Sign me up! You should still have my personal e-mail...just let me know what you need and I am there!
On a side note Albert, I don't seem to be getting e-mail notifications on topics I have replied too. Do you know what could be causing this? Thanks!

Albert,
I'd love to assist in any way possible, so count on me if you need any type of articles. I was 'associated' with an unofficial university newspaper in the capacity of reporter/editor. Won't name names, cause i don't want anyone flaming me ;)

I think it's a wonderful idea...everyone can forward to folks on their address list. I really like the part about current news, it is so hard to catch up if you miss a day or two. It also eliminates all the off topic stuff if the news on bird flu is what you are really looking for. I watch and read the current news each day but for bird flu, I always come here. I'm not one for the off topic news on here. Thanks for the work you do!
