doesn't this strike you as strange? why are very strong race horse becoming ill and dieing? is it that there immune system that is very strong and its going against them, because ot it ? like the 1918 flu did many young strong healthy people in ..

The EI virus has been known to cause death in elderly or very young horses but is not usually fatal to fit, healthy horses.
