                  General Discussion swine flu               
              On June 11, 2009, the World Health Organization (WHO) raised its' Pandemic Alert Level to phase 6, declaring the beginning of the first pandemic in the last 41 years.   Experts are cautioning that the swine flu pandemic will be as severe as the pandemic of 1957, but with the potential of increasing in virulence to that of the Spanish Flu of 1918.
