As predicted, we have another two new cases today, as we've seen daily over the last few days. The Chinese are getting predictable with reporting. In my opinion, there are most likely several more cases, but China is reporting just two a day and are slow to release information. And again, all but two of the infected are hospitalized in critical condition, but no update on their condition is being reported, as well as no further deaths reported.
China's transparency, or lack thereof, is a problem here.

New bird flu virus now infects at least 20 in eastern ChinaBEIJING -- Shanghai has reported two more cases of human infection of a new strain of bird flu, raising the number of cases in eastern China to 20. The death toll among those who contracted the virus remains at six. Health officials believe people are contracting the H7N9 virus through direct contact with infected fowl and say there's no evidence the virus is spreading easily between people. China's official Xinhua News Agency reported the two new Shanghai cases Sunday, citing local authorities. |
