If you go to http://www.internet-grocer.net  you can buy canned butter for $3.99 a can.  This is real butter from new Zealand and has a very long shelf life (supposedly close to indefinitely if kept cool).  I ordered some last week and although I've never actually tried it, I bought some last year to send to a soldier in Iraq and the feedback was that it was good.  They also have #10 cans of powered butter (I think about $23.00 a can...but that's a BIG can) and canned Kraft cheese (that I think is also about $3.99 a can).  I've never found anybody else that carried the canned butter and cheese, even though it's possible there are others on the Internet selling it.
