This is what they are calling the fiasco unfolding....

Our government seems to think this is some sort of a game.

A game of brinksmenship...

This type of politics have to stop!

Brinkmanship (also brinksmanship) is the practice of pushing dangerous events to the verge of—or to the brink of—disaster in order to achieve the most advantageous outcome. It occurs in international politics, foreign policy, labour relations, and (in contemporary settings) military strategyinvolving the threatened use of nuclear weapons. This maneuver of pushing a situation with the opponent to the brink succeeds by forcing the opponent to back down and make concessions. This might be achieved through diplomatic maneuvers by creating the impression that one is willing to use extreme methods rather than concede. During the Cold War, the threat of nuclear force was often used as such an escalating measure.

You are correct this is all political drama and I don't pay too much attention to it. All of these people need to be replaced!

I agree, FluMom - I have a feeling that more than a few of them will be gone when election time comes around  Thumbs Up

Watch Aaron Russo on this video.  It is long, but worth it.

The current battle in the house is political theater for something, but I just don't know what.  Could it have been a diversion to take our minds off of Syria?  Is it a diversion to take our minds off of the economy?  I just don't believe that things are what they seem to be.
