I know what you mean - you have to read it first to find out it wasn't worth reading  Angry

Hi Hachi! :) I lurk still but don't post much, my DD is in 3rd grade this year & thanks to this CRAP they are calling Common Core homework sessions went from 30 min a day to hours! Our schools are out next week here so hopefully I'll have more time.

Yes jacksdad I still do! Although you can hear a pin drop over at Swineflu.org. LOL!

Albert needs to take a look at my account cuz I've lost the ability to use the spam cleaner.

Aw man, Common Core strikes again. I saw my little cousin's math hw, in 7th grade, and I have no idea whatsoever how you even solve the problems anymore. The process is obnoxious. A school in Southern CA just got in trouble due to common core. They wanted 8th grades to write an essay about whether or not the Holocaust actually happened, and to argue why or why not. School ends early for you. Here school tends to end the first week of June for students, though some schools are ending in late May now.  I have been taking this online class to stay busy while I seek work (aside from doing my research), since I already have my BA. It ends in two weeks and I am so sick of it.
Be prepared! It may be time....^_^v
