Here's some food for thought on just how far and wide Ebola has spread.

The distance from Conakry, Guinea to Monrovia, Liberia is 296 miles.

The distance from Conakry, Guinea to Lago, Nigeria is 1,187 miles.

The distance from Conakry, Guinea to Congo is over 2,000 miles!

(For reference, the distance from New York to San Francisco is 2,573.) miles.

So, the distances from Guinea to Nigeria or the Congo requires some serious travel, most likely by air. What's a few more miles across the Atlantic to the U.S.? Ebola will be here before Christmas.

I tend to agree with Elver on this.  If they don't contain it soon, it will reach North America and Europe in the upcoming months, if not sooner.  At that point, the cold temps could ignite a pandemic since the virus sticks to surfaces and survives outside the host in the same fashion as the flu in cold.

Hey folks. Just for the record I was no big fan of BUSH either. My opinion is that they are all no good and should be all thrown out of office, for the years of not taking care of serious issues, and being responsible for the continuing down fall of our country..anyway back on topic..

I Agree with Albert and Elver that this Ebola is a slow moving train wreck
and shows no signs yet that it's going away anytime soon..

I plan to vote for Rand Paul in next election.  I'm a republican who plans to vote for the most Independent and/or Libertarian.
