Possible Terrorist Attack in U.K.

This is not only true in the U.K. Despite all the putting out fires of ISIS not being a threat, it is.  When Iraq was invaded 7 brigades of Republican Guard disappeared as American forces entered Baghdad.

British Prime Minister David Cameron raised Friday the nation’s terrorism threat level to “severe,” saying bluntly that “poisonous” Islamic extremism is causing widespread problems that are spreading from the Middle East to other parts of the world.

“We have to confront it from home and abroad,” he said Friday during a press conference, calling for more intelligence, smart military airstrikes and a slew of other “building blocks” that will require “perseverance” to succeed.

intelligence community has observed a “significant increase” in chatter among terrorist organizations as the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears.

“We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,” a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Blaze.

comment: We appoach 9/11 - and terrorists are notorius for wanting to do things on memoriable dates.  Yet even if 9/11 comes and goes without an attack - increasing activity and chatter indicate we should be wary.

President Obama acknowledged Thursday he doesn’t have a plan for defeating Islamist militants in Syria and backed away from imminent military action, while he also downplayed reports of a new Russian invasion in Ukraine.

“We don’t have a strategy yet,” Mr. Obama said of his plans for defeating the Islamic State in Syria. “We need to make sure that we’ve got clear plans. As our strategy develops, we will consult with Congress.”

comment:  Has a priority been set to developing plans to deal with this?

In the other military crisis facing the president, Mr. Obama took a noticeably low-key approach to the news that Russian soldiers in tanks and armored personnel carriers captured a key town in Ukraine on Thursday, opening a new front in the six-month-old war and drawing fresh international condemnation at Moscow’s increasingly direct involvement in the fighting.

“I consider the actions we’ve seen in the last week a continuation of what we’ve seen for months now,” Mr. Obama said.

comment: And so will be the invasion of other European countries if some type of military action is not used. The Arabic World has always respected strength and found weakness a signal to advance. It shook when military forces invaded Iraq and displayed strength.  The situation in Syria was so badly handled now we have ISIS. We need to shut some doors instead of opening more and putting a welcome mat down in front of them.

Don't listen to what Obama says, but watch what he does or doesn't do!

They have eliminated the color coded national terrorist threat report in America.

The National Terrorism Advisory System, or NTAS, replaces the color-coded Homeland Security Advisory System (HSAS). This system will more effectively communicate information about terrorist threats by providing timely, detailed information to the public, government agencies, first responders, airports and other transportation hubs, and the private sector.
