Albert and all,I have noticed that the Ebola death total has not changed in several days. Does any know why and does any one have even an estimated Ebola total.
By the way,the Ducan guy in Texas died on last Sunday, when the Israels said that he did. Some one or many some ones are feeding us a big line of BS to cover up something?Does any one have any answers to any of my questions?Johnray1 |

Hi John, hope you and Nancy are doing well.
There have been no updates on the death toll whatsoever since Sept 30th. We're definitely over 7,000 cases and probably nearing 7500, not including the under-reporting. The WHO backed off across the board once the CDC got involved and published their report about estimated cases. |

The above map was updated on 10/3/14 and shows a larger area of outbreak when compared to the older map of 9/16/14 which can be seen here: http://www.who.int/csr/disease/ebola/geographic-map-16-sep-2014.png?ua=1 |

Ebola still rampant in three African countries as deaths near 4,000 - WHO October 9, 2014 1:39am 0 0 0 New GENEVA - The worst Ebola outbreak on record has killed 3,879 people out of 8,033 cases by the end of Oct. 5, with no evidence that the epidemic was being brought under control in West Africa, the World Health Organization said on Wednesday. Liberia and Sierra Leone, the two worst-hit countries, still only had 21 percent and 26 percent of the bed spaces they needed, and neighbouring countries had been told to prepare for the disease to spread across their borders, the WHO said. — Reuters http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/382777/news/world/ebola-still-rampant-in-three-african-countries-as-deaths-near-4-000-who |

Funny how we are getting conflicting reports. One minute it's under control then the next minute there's no evidence that it's been brought under control. ????????

The new numbers give us increases of 440 D/541 C.
With new cases increasing, the CFR should be lower than last reported. The CFR of (increase) newly reported cases is 81%, up from 70.9% over-all last official estimates (should be lower, not higher). Is this due to: 1) poor reporting 2) lower percentage of patients admitted to ETCs (higher mortality) 3) change in pathogen 4) increases slowing (I don't have second to last numbers.. so no idea without numbers) 5) fluke of reporting cycles 6) germ nerdier math 7) bogus numbers Overall CFR has dropped to 48.2 % with these figures, suggesting something other than math is at play? PS, I always hated math!
