Test results for the Ebola virus came back negative for a child who recently traveled from West Africa to Chicago. The child was admitted to the University of Chicago Medical Center early Friday after displaying Ebola-like symptoms at O’Hare International Airport, according to a statement from the hospital. He was released the following day. Federal authorities found the child had a fever but no other symptoms of Ebola during screening at O’Hare, the statement said. |
