It would seem the government grows more and more oblivious to serious events happening in the world. As we worry about what Mr. Donald Trump is saying or what criminal charges could be filed against Hillary Clinton - Rome is burning.

Our current handle on foreign policy is non-existent as we have lame duck administration months before the elections even.

Failure to become involved in the sweep Isis which was created by the U.S. - no matter what person is responsible - over Iraq and fighting in Syria - will cost us.

Sending in a handful of special forces can not begin to match Russia launching forces from Iran's mainland. This is serious and although it has happened before - America is in a state a inaction and ineffectiveness to deal with foreign policy.

Something must change.

What is being ignored is that not only are the Russian planes in a better position to strike Iran, if there were an outbreak of war - they would have highly effective war planes which could attack Europe with an greatly decreased flight time.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-08-16/china-sides-russia-syrian-war-will-provide-aid-and-military-training-assad

Again reports of China joining Russia in the war for Syria. Russia, Iran/Iraq, Syria, China=RISC.

China was interested in buying the port of Pireas in Greece, Turkey is renewing its contacts with Russia and Iran.

The 2003 war with Iraq under Bush jr. did not have any other goal than oil and greed. It is harvesttime for the west. The refugee-crisis is part of that bitter-harvest.

Obama did not improve the mistakes made under Bush-with the Ukraine-coup things did even worsen.

The outcome is that China will persue its New Silk Road policy and try to gain more influence-with Russian/Iran support (in exchange for energy paid not in US$) in west Asia. China and Russia are not after war with "the west" when they can reach their goals in a peacefull way.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
