Hello guys. (Sorry if this is in the wrong place)

I have just sprouted some green lentils (for soup) and wanted to post incase people have unheard of them. They were easy to do, very cheap, need little room and can be grown all year round.

They contain more nutrition as dried lentils plus sprouted legumes are more digestible so less intestinal gas and are quicker to cook.

All you need is:

Dried lentils (I used green lentils)
Glass jar with lid (put holes in lid)

Soak lentils in jar for 12hrs. Pour water through holes on lids and raise lentils with clean room temp water. Take water out of jar.
Leave for 12hrs, not in direct sunlight (with no water)
Raise every 12hrs (at least)
In 2/3 days will have sprouted lentils.

Can use most legumes, pluses, cereals, oilseeds, brassica and many others just as easy and for more benefits.

:-)
