This video is 55 minutes long and interesting. It starts out talking about how global warming isn't caused by human activity, but by the pole shift that is taking place.

Crabby, if you put in front of the link and behind it you create a direct link. (I learned that one from Technophobe !) So whit control-C I move over your link-with control-V I put it behind the and close it with .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanuel_Velikovsky , [url]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eris_(dwarf_planet)(=dwarf planet Xena) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pole_shift_hypothesis Essential in Velikovsky's thinking is that changes in the Earth's history can be very abrupt and violent. In the 2008 YouTube link John Moore is speaking about a shift in the axis of the globe-redistributing water, effecting climate etc. and how to deal with that.
I agree with the idea that what we see and take for "normal" is based on limited experience from the last 100-200 years. We would like to believe that the climate from this timeframe is the "normal", that limited seismic/volcanic activity is "normal" because it is the basis on wich population grew from less than 1 billion in 1800 to 7,5 billion (7.500.000.000) in 2016. Food production, transport etc. need this "normal" to function. But looking at a longer timeframe-10.000 years-we should realise that we should consider the last 200 years as very abnormal. There is nothing wrong with preparing for radical changes. Polar shifts however are not science. The link between CO2, methane and heat-absorption is science.

Josh ran into a technical problem there, Crabby. Namely, if you try to post instructions on how to post a link then you automatically post a link. (BLOODY COMPUTERS!)
This is the instructions - as clearly as I can explain them without triggering the effect instead of the instructions: Method 1,
This works in all the awkward tablets i-phones, kindles etc.. Copy the link. Type: [ U R L ] now paste the link in here [ / U R L ] Do not use any spaces, I used them to avoid "now paste the link" being used as a link in this post. Method 2, Copy the link. Click on the "world with glasses" icon. (If it fails to show it may be hiding behind the current page.) Insert/paste link into box between "http://" and "preview" boxes and click "ok". This is the shortcut but if it fails the other way may still work. Watch out for the http:// bit as this way uses it automatically so you can end up using it twice which stops it working right. |

Well, I still can't get it. I don't understand what they changed with the glasses icon. I used to be able to use that.
