I agree. And I think it's worth pointing out that when a political thread is started by any member, it should be with the expectation that opposing views - again of a political nature - will more than likely be shared. It's the nature of the beast. Free speech is very much cherished here, but if there's one thing I've learned in my time on AFT, it's that discussion, disagreement and dissension are one of the few constants here.

It's the double standard that bothers me. The Social Justice Warriors will not give up on Trump, but everyone is supposed to forget that Hillary was involved in voter fraud, was forgiven by Comey before the investigation, and now is making big money and a woeful "poor me" book which even drags out a poorly passed drama to tedium. The statute of limitations is only for murder, and this is like a tearful wife pleading - but I slept with your best friend last month and that is the past. You must go on. Well, not really. The let's impeach Trump horse is dead. The Trump worked with the Russians to win is dead. The Comey told the real story is dead because he was so corrupt any memorandum was not worth the bytes it was stored with on his server. It is much like the huge security breach http://money.cnn.com/2017/09/07/technology/business/equifax-data-breach/index.html Equifax says a giant cybersecurity breach compromised the personal information of as many as 143 million Americans — almost half the country. Months later they even report this and the information hacked was massive making identity doable to almost half of the United States. We live in times of congressman on crack, voter fraud, and all out lying in the media. The people behind Hillary are not quitting. They are not only beating the horse, they are dragging through the streets with the decapitated head of Trump attached to it. Enough is enough. As I have been posting since Trump won - it is time to move on. Here too. We need to get back to Pandemics and diseases prepping and move all of this politics to a Political section and get it off the main feed here. I would like that very much. Medclinician |

Seriously? Let it go, Med. The horse died a long time ago. You can probably stop beating it now.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/09/08/out-staters-may-have-won-new-hampshire-for-clinton-data-suggest.html
New data suggest that more than 5,000 people who cast ballots in New Hampshire in the 2016 U.S. presidential election might not have been residents of the state. These voters likely used out-of-state driver’s licenses and have not since obtained an in-state license or registered a vehicle. New Hampshire House Speaker Shawn Jasper, a Republican, released the data Thursday following his inquiries to the state’s Department of State and the Department of Safety, which supervise elections. The new figures could potentially call into question the validity of the New Hampshire results for Nov. 8, when Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton outpolled Republican nominee Donald Trump by a mere 2,736 votes. comment: Only the tip of the Iceberg. God only knows how many dead people, mulitiple-votes - or illegal immigrants will someday found to have voted for Hillary Clinton. She definitely lost New Hampshire. Medclinician |

Just the fax - lol - it's bad - and especially in the states where Hillary did the best Updated January 2017 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voter_ID_laws_in_the_United_States#State-by-state_requirements The NCSL categorises state-level voter ID laws as follows:
California - (LA, Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco) - New York (The Big Apple and huge population centers) - Illinois (Chicago) etc. comment: 19 states - none - 15 probably none - 34 states - and you wonder if illegals were not only recruited to vote but did vote for Clinton. These voters were courted throughout the campaign and still the Democrats lost. There will be an investigation. Short term memory loss of the big hoopla over recounts in states which made no difference. There were other instances where people related seeing this happen and some say voter fraud has been going for decades. Dead people voting- more votes than people that are voters - single people sending in hundreds of votes. It is something that needs to be checked out. After all - we are a democracy - and only citizens should vote. Medclinician |

How is no id required? I have voted in four different states over the years and every single one required a picture id to vote. Does not every state require this? |

Most of the speculation about voter fraud began with a single tweet from Greg Phillips of the VoterFraud.org organization back in November. It claimed they'd analyzed a database of 180 million registrations and found evidence of 3 million votes cast by non-citizens, and were consulting their legal team. A second tweet a few days later stated they were joining with a group called TrueTheVote to initiate legal action. Those tweets seem to be the source of all the continuing controversy. As far as I'm aware, no legal action was ever taken and no further proof was ever offered.
If anyone else has something more concrete, I'd love to hear it. |

There is no doubt that there was voter fraud - there always is. Especially with the "no id required" BS the Dems push.
Whether that translates into Trump winning the popular vote is unknown. |

As I have been posting there is a very good chance that President Trump won the popular as well as sweeping electoral vote.
There has been a continuing effort by the Social Justice Warriors to go on that he wasn't elected by a mandate of the people and the Electoral system should be retired. There was a massive effort of the Hillary Clinton campaign to mobilize illegal immigrants and appeal to them. Why? Because in many states they don't verify people and it is possible from 5-7 million of them voted for Hillary. To begin with, the Electoral College was founded for a reason. Since many of the Democrats are always ranting about "fact checking" as was a rallying cry of Hillary in her attacks - let's do some. http://www.factcheck.org/2008/02/the-reason-for-the-electoral-college/ The reason that the Constitution calls for this extra layer, rather than just providing for the direct election of the president, is that most of the nation’s founders were actually rather afraid of democracy. James Madison worried about what he called “factions,” which he defined as groups of citizens who have a common interest in some proposal that would either violate the rights of other citizens or would harm the nation as a whole. Madison’s fear – which Alexis de Tocqueville later dubbed “the tyranny of the majority” – was that a faction could grow to encompass more than 50 percent of the population, at which point it could “sacrifice to its ruling passion or interest both the public good and the rights of other citizens.” Madison has a solution for tyranny of the majority: “A republic, by which I mean a government in which the scheme of representation takes place, opens a different prospect, and promises the cure for which we are seeking.” comment: Although part of a Democracy is counting votes - it is also preventing damaging factions of special interest groups as well as the large cities - New York - Chicago - San Francisco - Los Angeles - and others from using the masses to ignore the rights of the South and Midwest voters. It is highly unlikely it is either rational or for the good of America to put the needs of illegal people in the country over American citizens, taking jobs, health benefits, and even political power. To work in the U.S. people should either be a citizen or be on file as being here and have permission to do so. Few other countries allow people to stream in their countries and take over. This has happened in California and also areas where there has been a bloodless war of conquest. We endured 3 generations of Welfare where families were rewarded for having as many babies as possible and then collected more money than hard working citizens. This has all but thrashed the resources for those legally in America in many areas. The ultimate insult is to have millions from other countries who are not citizens recruited to vote for a candidate that simply wants their votes. This is the same issue in terms of women's rights - minority rights and alternate life style issues. It isn't caring - it is harvesting votes. Add to this a lying press with "False News" - remember how I have been harping about "The Real News"? - well we aren't getting it. There is no reason people should not be monitored who are working and collecting health and money. This is not victimizing anyone. It is common sense of an intelligent practical government. It is possible we actually had members of Isis and other terrorists groups casting votes in New York - one of the prime targets of terrorist attacks i.e. 9-11 as well as currently. http://american3rdposition.com/?p=8416 California According to the Office of the California Secretary of State, "in most cases, California voters are not required to show identification at their polling place. New York In New York, a voter does not have to present identification at the polls. Illinois Generally, Illinois state law does not require voters to present a form of identification at the polls on Election Day. comment: Now one can encourage people to illegally vote by scaring them that they will be put in jail or deported if the other candidate is elected. This extends to using fear on minority groups, women, gays, transgenders into creating a campaign that the other person is going to hunt them down and have them imprisoned, persecuted, or deported. I posted about the real possibility that there were millions of illegal votes and I have no doubt Trump people read my posts. Although it is hard to prove how many people cast illegal votes - it is possible that without them - Trump would have won the popular vote as well. As the media and others continue to try and play the "not our president because he didn't win the popular vote card" it may be as big a myth as the polls which have been created and were wrong - the flaming attacks on events which never happened and a total blindness as to the good being done and actual fulfilling of campaign promises and inciting fear into an establishment entrenched in Washington that has ignored the people's wants and needs for decades. It was time for a change. Is there a reason to think there has been fraud in terms of those voting? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/25/trump-promises-major-investigation-into-alleged-voter-fraud.html Looking at that old 8-ball for answers...
