Breaking News - More to follow

An incident, reported as "explosions", occurred at the Manchester Arena at around 10:40pm BST (daylight savings local time) on 22 May 2017,[2] causing at least 20 fatalities[3] and hundreds of injuries.[4] The incident, described as a "huge bang", took place at the end of a concert by American singer Ariana Grande during her Dangerous Woman Tour. Police described the reports as a "serious incident".[5] The adjacent Manchester Victoria railway station's was evacuated and closed, and services were cancelled.[6]

There have been multiple reports of a second explosion, heard once many concert attendees had left the arena.[7]

Police are treating the incident as a possible but unconfirmed terrorist attack

Some remarks on yet one more act of terror in Europe.

As long as Saudi Arabia, Gulf wahabi extremist states are "friends of the west" and sponsor IS-while that west blames Iran for international terror in my opinion there is something very wrong.

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2017/05/23/man22/ Terror attacks during election campains can be used (by many parties) in that election campain. We did have that in France, may see it in Germany. In june there are elections in the UK.

In the recent past the French state did sink the Greenpeace ship "Rainbow Warrior", the UK did see an illegal war against the IRA by the British state. Degrees of involvement in acts of terror could be that security groups know what the plans are-maybe even deliver tools and info-and let it happen.

Till a few years ago IS was seen by western countries as "opposition against Assad in Syria" and many west European citizens (most of Islam background) were alowed to go to Turkey, Syria etc to join IS (and even come back to the EU). That same west did by oil from IS. Weapons used by IS did get there via Turkey and Gulf states (Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc.)

The 9-11-2001 terror attacks have strong Saudi links-but those links seem to be a state secret. IS now shows up in the Philipines, Ukraine, Africa-and can be used against Russia and China as a "western proxy army".

I would love to believe western leaders do everything they can to fight terror but I do not believe that that is the case.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd earlier told Sky News that she expects the critical threat level to be temporary. She also said the bomber was known "up to a point" by the intelligence services.

The change in terror threat comes after investigators were unable to rule out whether suspect Salman Abedi - understood to be a 22-year-old born in Manchester to parents of Libyan descent - was part of a group. -

The highest threat level, which is decided by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre - a group of experts from the police, government departments and agencies - has only been reached twice before.

Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley, who is the national counter-terrorism policing lead, said the investigation was "fast-moving and making good progress".

"However, a critical line of inquiry is whether the dead terrorist was acting alone or part of a group," he said.

"We still have critical lines of inquiry they're chasing down which has led to a level of uncertainty."

The first time the threat level was raised to critical was in 2006 during a major operation to stop a plot to blow up transatlantic airliners with liquid bombs.

The following year, security chiefs raised it once more as they hunted for the men who had tried to bomb a London nightclub, before going on to attack Glasgow Airport.

The Metropolitan Police says it has increased its presence across London, including specialist police officers who are trained "to spot the tell-tale signs that a person may be carrying out hostile reconnaissance or committing other crime... based on extensive research into the psychology of criminals and what undermines their activities".

https://www.rt.com/uk/389537-arrests-terrorism-manchester-bombing/ More people involved (a terrorist cell ?) in the Manchester terror attack ?

http://www.veteranstoday.com/2017/05/23/paris-hebdo-attack-investigation-cites-police-in-false-flag/ In France police must have known of transfer and transport of weapons wich were used in several terror attacks. Several intelligence agencies (Turkish, Israeli, Russian) did give warnings wich were ignored.

http://www.voltairenet.org/article196411.html India expects IS-jihadi's from Syria showing up in Kashmir (via Pakistan). (More on MI6 support of IS here http://www.voltairenet.org/article188650.html

The UK has troops in Jordan and southern Syria "to fight IS". http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/15/syrian-troops-advancing-towards-us-british-special-forces/ French, British and US forces are fighting in Syria with "moderate rebels" wich are also fighting Assad.

Salman Abedi did travel recently to Libya and Syria. His father had al-quada links since the 90's and was fighting with al-quada linked groups in Syria. His younger brother was planning attacks in Tripoli-Libya.

A state of emergency can be used to cover up fact-finding about the faillure (or was it not failure ???) of intelligence agencies. Earlier in France, Belgium and Germany other terrorist acts were done by people with Syria-IS (etc) links.

My disgust with this "leader" just reached new heights.  Not only did a source within the American administration leak our shared security information to the press, but I just heard a spokesperson blaming it on the previous administration.

The buck stops with those in power when the leak happened.  It happened this week!

When you mess up your best friend's life you apologize.  You don't blame someone else who was not even there at the time.

Our government has reviewed sharing security information with America and decided NOT TO.  That is bad for both of us.

Perhaps we will just go away and commiserate with Israel.  For our part it seems that no harm was done (unlike with Israel) but the trust has gone.  That,   is , no was priceless.

http://www.debka.com/article/26076/Counterterror-systems-are-deficient-across-Europe people on terrorist-lists still can fly to Syria, Libya  and return etc. from western Europe.

https://www.rt.com/op-edge/389810-uk-clibya-islamist-manchester/ After 2011 the UK (under Theresa May as home secretary !!!) had an "open door"policy in which muslim-extremist could fly to and from Libya to fight against Gadaffi.

It's never enough to repeat, over and over again, that Daesh and the House of Saud are both cadaverous faces of the same Medusa-stamped coin; totalitarian theocracy, implementable by jihad.
The Manchester bomber fits a juicy profile: a British-born subject of Libyan descent, with an indirect connection (alleged secret trips to Syria) to the Hillary Clinton-approved Libya-Syria Takfiristan rat line. The connection implies a crossover from al-Qaeda to Daesh, because the original rat line featured the Libya Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), affiliated to al-Qaeda and fully supported by Washington and London.

There’s an interesting dynamic emerging, a very clear picture.  The father Ramadan Abedi belonged to the extremist Islamic elements that was being kept in check by former Dictator Maummar Qaddafi.    Ramadan Abedi fled Libya in 1993 to avoid being killed by Qaddafi forces who were pretty good at killing off the domestic terror groups who also worked under the auspices of overthrowing the regime.

In essence, the Abedi family linkage to Libya is directly connected to the radical extremist elements within Eastern Libya that centered near Benghazi.  The ideological outlook of the Abedi family aligned with the decision by President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Samantha Power’s to overthrow Qaddafi in 2011.

After Qaddafi’s ouster, Ramadan was able to go back to Libya and join back with his ideological brethren.   The plot to kill the people in Manchester came from this jihadist outlook.  This is a direct consequence of Obama and Clinton’s Libyan intervention.

(DJ: further in the article the father of salman shaking hands with h.clinton. Is there maybe even a link with the murder on the US ambassodor and transfer of sarin-gas to "moderate rebels" in Syria ? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/03/22/benghazi-scandal-what-happened-and-what-does-it-mean-for-hilary/ )

Other former members of the LIFG have also lived at Whalley Range, including Abedi’s friend Abd al-Baset-Azzouz. In 2009, this last joined Al-Qaeda in Pakistan and became a close associate of its chief, Ayman al-Zawahiri. In 2011, al-Baset-Azzouz is active on the ground with the NATO operation against Libya. On 11 September 2012, he directs the operation against the US Ambassador in Libya, Christopher Stevens, assassinated at Benghazi. He is arrested in Turkey and extradited to the US in December 2014, his trial still pending.

Nobody pays attention to the fact that Ramadan Abedi has linked LIFG members to the formation of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and, in 2011, he takes part in MI6’s ‘Arab Spring’ operations, and in LIFG’s role on the ground in support of NATO. In any event, Abedi returned to Libya after the fall of Gaddafi and moves his family there, leaving his older children in the family home at Whalley Range.

Image result for Abdelhakim BelhadjAccording to the former Spanish Prime Minister José Maria Aznar, Abdelhakim Belhadj (image on the left, source: The Rendition Project) was involved in the assassinations in Madrid of 11 March 2004. Later, he is secretly arrested in Malaysia by the CIA and transferred to Libya where he is tortured not by Libyan or American functionaries but by MI6 agents. He is finally freed after the accord between Saif al-Islam Gaddafi [Gaddafi’s son] and the jihadists.

During the Libyan war, Belhadj, who had been living in Qatar, returned to Libya, courtesy of the Qatari Emir, and commanded the operations on the ground in league with NATO. On 28 July 2011, he organised the assassination of General Abdul Fatah Younis who claimed to have joined the ‘rebels’, but who Belhadj accused of overseeing the struggle against the LIFG during the 1990s.

In September 2011, Belhadj was named military governor of Tripoli by NATO. In 2012, seconded by the Irish-Libyan Mahdi al-Hatari, he created the Free Syrian Army, then returns again to Libya. On 2 May 2014, he is received officially at the Quai d’Orsay [the French Foreign Ministry].

In December 2013, following the discovery in the archives of Gaddafi’s Libyan regime of a letter from the former chief of MI6, Belhadj launches proceedings in London against the UK for having kidnapped and tortured him nine years earlier. British Intelligence then illegally places his lawyers under phone-tapping, although it is ultimately constrained to destroy the intelligence obtained.

According to Egypt’s Prosecutor General, Hisham Barakat, in May 2015, Belhadj becomes Daesh’ most senior figure in North Africa, this claim taken up by Interpol. Belhadj installs three training camps for Daesh in Libya at Derna (in the former property of Abd al-Baset-Azzouz), at Syrte and at Sebrata. In October 2016, he launches in London new legal proceedings regarding his kidnapping and torture, this time nominally against the former director of MI6, Sir Mark Allen.

Daesh has claimed responsibility for the Manchester attack, but without describing Salman Abedi as a ‘martyr’. After the assassination, Ramadan Abedi has declared his opposition to jihad in a telephone conversation with journalists. He has also claimed that his son had intended to spend the month of Ramadan [beginning 26 May] with him in Libya and that he is convinced of his innocence.

THE MANCHESTER-LIBYA CONNECTION IN FIVE MINUTES

Let’s focus on Ramadan, father of the Manchester “martyr” Salman Obeidi; now that’s a nasty piece of work.

He hails from the al-Obeidi tribe, from al Gubbah in eastern Libya. Under Gaddafi he was a Sgt. Major, very pious and Islamist-connected. He left Libya in 1991 and settled down in the Saudi Wahhabi paradise where – crucially – he trained mujahideen fighting in Afghanistan against the Najibullah government, after the Soviet retreat.

In 1992 the mujahideen enter Kabul, as in bomb it to death, including the recently “normalized” Hekmatyar. Ramadan goes to London and then Manchester, joining the Libyan Islamist diaspora that coalesces around the Libya Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG).
Ramadan connects with none other that Abu Anas Al-Libbi – who also lives in Manchester – and will become the brains behind the al-Qaeda attacks on Kenya and Tanzania in 1998.

Ramadan also connects with the infamous Abdelhakim Belhaj – former mujahid in Afghanistan and VERY close to… Osama Bin Laden. Belhaj convinces Ramadan to go back to Libya.

After the Cameron/Sarkozy/NATO “liberation” of Libya, Ramadan joins the Al Umma party, whose leader is Sami al Saadi, one of the LIFG’s top commanders, and gets very close to the Grand Mufti Sadeq al-Ghariani, the spiritual guide of hardcore Islamist militias linked to Belhaj.

Three years ago Ramadan was part of the Islamist militia raid that re-conquered Tripoli’s airport; son Salman flew from Manchester for this one, was shot, and treated in Turkey.

Ramadan was also part of the Benghazi Defense Brigades; a mish mash of Islamists from Katiba 17 (financed by Qatar and instrumental in the Benghazi revolt against Gaddafi) and Ansar al Sharia. You all remember what happened on 9/11, 2012; it was Ansar al Sharia operatives who attacked the US consulate in Benghazi.

Arguably the key point in all this mess is that Ramadan profited from the MI5 rat line transporting Libyans back to the home country to fight Gaddafi. The minister in charge of authorizing this “policy”? Theresa May.

MI5 and the British government always knew, all along, what Ramadan was all about. He was certainly an asset; the Brits were heavily involved in eastern Libya from the start. He has not been arrested; he’s now under protection, Mafia-style. His “arrest” took place – how lovely! - just as a shadow flight carrying US Special Forces landed in Misrata.

The only missing link is why son Salman “betrayed” his al-Qaeda Dad by converting to Daesh.

This is just an ultra-concise summary of the whole stinking-to-high-heavens scam. But you get the drift.
