I don't really believe in conspiracy theories, but these videos are actually quite compelling. Do we have second shooter? These videos are actually quite chilling. |

Albert, I'm personally convinced there was at least one other shooter, and probably some helpers. I took this photo while training with the good agents of the FBI, here we are being shown the power of the Thompson Sub-Machine gun. I've shot this stuff & know others here have as well. From the cadence of the gunfire and sheer volume of lead thrown, I don't know how that clown could have pulled it off by himself. The barrels of the guns would have been red-hot, and even if he alternated rifles and inserted new mags, he could not keep up the level of firepower I heard on recordings. This thing stinks to high holy heaven. |

Bernard tells me there is definitely more than one gun. This conclusion would be well within his skill set. This does not necessarily mean gunmen. Some of the shots heard in the first video could be echoes and, I confess, I could not make out much in the second one, certainly nothing I could not eliminate as cameras, reflections etc.. So all I can say is inconclusive. Forensic analysis of these videos may show much more.
You could be on to something, Boss, but I don't know yet.

That raises yet more questions: some about the veracity of the sources of this info (for instance the alleged suicide note) but even more from the authorities - for what hey are not saying.

Evidence Suggests Las Vegas Shooter Had Help, Sheriff Sayshttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/stephen-paddock-escape-las-vegas_us_59d56773e4b0becae80246b6?ncid=inblnkushpmg00000009 nvestigators with the sheriff’s office and the FBI, standing alongside Nevada Sen. Dean Heller (R), urged media to refrain from speculation and said the investigation would take time. “We like to deal with facts,” said Aaron Rouse, the special agent in charge for the FBI’s Las Vegas division. “Theories are great and everyone can have a theory, but we need to deal with facts, the sheriff needs to deal with facts. We are reliant on that to do our jobs. That’s what we will focus on.” |

Just like the Oklahoma City bombings, I'm personally convinced this guy had help, if not another shooter in the room.
He had to rapidly rotate his weapons to allow them to cool off....police found some that had jammed due to overheating. Just like 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, we may never learn 100% of the truth with this situation.

I was listening to Michael Weiner aka Michael Savage on the radio while driving into town
callers were throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this episode and ALL with absolutely NO evidence to back their claims NONE and Savage was all to happy to keep throwing them red meat apparently its another government plot for a gun grab course I am a little confused Republican President ,Republican Senate,Republican House and "theeer gonna take our'ns guns" !!! ??? I thought Obama was the big bad gun grabber? I'm so confused interestingly enough Obama turned out to be the best thing for the firearms industry ever sales were through the roof during his term people so mistrust the government now and maybe rightly so that they will literally grab onto ANY conspiracy theory that comes along damn the fact that they have NO evidence IF there was a second shooter this will be EASY to determine motels such as Mandalay Bay have security cameras EVERYWHERE a second shooter will easily show up on a dozen of them |

Las Vegas shooter booked hotel overlooking Lollapalooza, seen with mystery womanhttps://www.yahoo.com/gma/investigators-delve-deeper-las-vegas-shooting-chilling-details-154506519--abc-news-topstories.html this guy,in all probability did act alone, see those weapon magazines in the photos? those generally hold 30-40 rounds each and it takes just a second or two to switch one out and the actual shooting took only 9-11 minutes ANY amateur could have pulled this off NO Antifa or ISIS literature has been found this guy owned a total of about 50 weapons of various types many of them were at his other properties though he did purchase 33 weapons in the past year that should have been a RED FLAG but records of this sort aren't kept apparently |

ISIS Claims Responsibility for Las Vegas Attack Again, with New Info About Shooterhttps://www.redstate.com/brandon_morse/2017/10/05/isis-claims-responsibility-las-vegas-attack-fourth-time/ Earlier today, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said he believed that Paddock could not have been working alone. While Lombardo did not mention any terrorist groups, if ISIS claims are legitimate, it would fit Lombardo’s theory as to how Paddock could have gotten so many munitions, explosives, and “electronic devices.” this so called sheriff really needs to STOP TALKING at this point he is just embarrassing himself he continues to just throw stuff out there with NO proof or evidence of ANYTHING he is saying and literally ANYBODY could easily have purchased 50 firearms in this country its just not that hard go to a gun show moron and these "explosives" he is referring to is tannerite https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tannerite you can buy these stuff in any place that sells firearms and ammo for crying out loud and the mysterious "electronic devices" he mentions are pads and cell phone type devices big deal I have two cell phones and 4 pads and 2 kindles myself stop talking Sheriff Bubba Gump |

Yeah, that guy is 100% whack job. However, did you see that the son of Israeli PM Netanyahu was involved with anti-Jewish Nazi activities? Very weird, and this stuff fans the flames of clowns like the AZ congressman. |

It was admitted today that the shooter had been doing this a long time and obviously had help. The details of the actual storming of the hotel room are now blurred and the distance between the windows which were fired from would indicate a second shooter.
Little mrs. shooter and I don't know nothing about nothing about him - is obviously not true. He made his millions - and he was rich - from stock investments and purchased over 37 weapons without raising any red flags. Why they were confused? He probably didn't post on Facebook - use Google or Skype and was off the radar. He did not just flip out. It was a carefully planned and well executed attack that lasted from 9-11 minutes of almost continuous gunfire. He had almost a half-ton or more of ammo at his house. He did not plan to die after the shooting so it is unlikely he shot himself. This could easily be known in a few hours from powder burns and other evidence which has yet to be disclosed. He was probably shot and there is an audio tape as they raided the place saying they had one combatant down. Which means what? One? Were there two or more. Good to see you back Albert. Medclinician |

Thanks, Med, good reporting! The guy also tried to buy tracer rounds at a gun show & couldn't score any....he may have decided against using tracers since they would give away his sniper's perch. I don't know who or what this guy was, I can't figure out any motivation. Crazy? I guess that is the only label that fits, but I don't know many murderous sociopaths who have become self-made millionaires. Some like Bernie Madoff were clearly nuts, brilliant and successful, so he might have had that kind of IQ with a different motivation.

I disagree. I'm a highly trained professional in law enforcement who owns more that a dozen firearms, and do not consider myself an amateur at all. This is what differentiates this guy: a) knowledge of firearms - he bought good stuff that worked, and bought it in a way that no red flags were raised. He used a lot of cash, selected high-quality firearms and upgraded them with very specific upgrades (bump stocks). He was rich enough to have purchased fully auto weapons on the black market if he wanted to. b) planning - he put years of planning into this, including selecting the event and hotel room to maximize destruction and minimize counter-attack. There was no high-rise opposite to his sniper nest, and this made identifying his location very difficult for law enforcement. He also set up cameras outside and inside of the room to alert him of law enforcement. c) execution - he obviously planned and rehearsed this meticulously. Breaking out two windows vs. one optimized both his vantage point and minimized the chance that he could be fired upon by responders. He was able to modulate his weapons so that he didn't have to have much downtime for reloading or dealing with heat jammed rifles. I have written attack scenarios for class assignments and tabletop exercises with the feds, and this guy was meticulous and driven. Nothing amateurish about this at all. He apparently intended to escape and survive, and we still don't know what he had planned next. Maybe more of the same? At least the 9/11 attackers could be understood, motivated by rage against Western society and enticed by their religious beliefs. This guy is a blank slate.

1000 lbs of ammo at his house ?
link please and AGAIN video cameras would have easily picked up a "second shooter" coming and going from a 32nd story motel room and if he was in league with another individual,as of this date there is NO confirmation of this from family, neighbors etc and still NO evidence,NONE that he was associated with ISIS my take on this with the limited evidence on hand at this time? some triggering event in the past year happened,he owned app 50 weapons but 33 were purchased in the last year alone, and according to a recent article most of those were never fired this guy had a scrip for valium, prescribed in the last four months those are red flags his mental health is deteoriating no big conspiracy here this guy in my professional opinion has had mental health issues for a long time they had been basically contained a triggering event happened and the damn broke the fact that he owned a lot of weapons and had a stockpile of ammo is NOT at all unusual hang around some of the heavy duty "prepper sites" they would be calling this guy small potatoes this hoarding of weapons and ammo is a sign of anxiety, which is OFTEN combined with at least a chronic low grade depression there is also a good amount of paranoia present example of which are that he is reported to move around a lot from one location to another,he used gloves when driving and always kept his shades drawn in addition he deliberately took steps to minimize contact with others (with the exception of having a girlfriend) the simplest explanation is usually the most correct |

This is rather chilling, the guy was NO amateur!
I've known some hard-core preppers, they didn't go through these types of preparations (ballistic calculations). http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/las-vegas-gunman-stephen-paddock-calculated-where-to-shoot-to-kill-maximum-number-of-people/article/2636860
Police found a note in the hotel room of Stephen Paddock, the gunman behind the mass shooting in Las Vegas, that had hand-written calculations about where he needed to aim to kill as many people as possible. In an interview that will be aired Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes," Officer Dave Newton from the Las Vegas Police Department's K-9 unit said he noticed a note on the shooter's bedside table after officers entered the room. The note was next to one of the windows that Paddock smashed with a hammer to clear an opening to fire into the crowd from his 32nd-floor hotel suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. "I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for for the crowd," Newton said. "So he had had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there." |

he did all these calculations but had bump stocks on 12 weapons, which increase rate of fire but decrease accuracy ???
made one attempt to buy tracer rounds which would help with accuracy but the one vendor was out so he didn't buy from someone else ??? some pieces of this puzzle don't fit planning to escape ??? but rented the hotel suite in his own name? knew he would be on video tape while in Mandalay Bay??? and he had stayed there numerous times and was well known ??? this guy may be smart and obviously engaged in SOME planning but MANY of his decisions just don't make sense his mental illness was very obviously interfering with his judgment/planning |

This extends far more than a second shooter and I am tracking that on my thread here. It is possible he was supplied with the weapons and also had some training from a terrorist group. While there may not be a second shooter - how could they escape with all the cameras and never be seen? Thre were cameras everywhere - even his - which surely had recorded video on them which would clearly show another person in the hallway.
The Pentagon confirms that Las Vegas shooter did not have any military record. He had no formal training to give him the weapon skills or knowledge. I am going to stay on this one - but I do not think you will find a second shooter. Medclinician |
