One of the reasons I have not been posting here is that the mainstream media - controlled and obviously in league with some members of Intelligence Agencies simply ignore certain areas and no longer report them to the public.
One of these is the weather. We used to see massive coverage of hurricane he and she as rain, snow, and wind belted homes and towns. It has been raining in California for weeks. Millions of people with no power - thousands with no flights as airports shut down. Not much better on the Flu. I lost 3 people now to it - and we have been seeing a lot of celebrities go down - and it is likely the Flu was lurking in the background. It is ironic sometimes since there is such a huge coverup of Flu now - not reporting deaths - the media obsessed with fake news - they ignore what is really important. This current Flu arrived through Guam during Kim Jong-un's tirades and they are currently heavy into chemical and bio-weapons and have them. A genetically engineered virus that would pass over those of oriental DNA and kill everyone else could clear the U.S. in a few weeks of almost everyone. We need the rain - but all of the drought and ration water people are losing a real industry as it continues to pour. Still working on The Real News - and we have not heard the end of this Flu or of the coming Ice Age. Medclinician |

Our unseasonably warm winter has been followed by an unseasonably cold spring (so far). Our news can almost talk of nothing else.
I say almost, as the Russian nerve agent attack was like an ingormation bombing event! The media has , almost as one, crossed the panic event horizon. Headless chickens are quite tame by comparison. Putin's knickers must be wet from laughing! |

Here (Western Canada) we're getting coverage of the continual NorEasters hitting both the US and CND eastern shores, and some news of other areas in US/ROW that are 'exceptional' ie outside the norm for a given a specific area... Seems to be about the average amount of weather news here.
My mom has been sick with a virus of some sort - the doctor she saw (was worried it was pneumonia) said it not that and that she "wasn't sick enough for him to 'risk' putting her in hospital with the flu that's there"... hoping no one I care about ends up in hospital, because (other then mom) I likely wouldn't risk a visit...! |

What does the common man on the street think? I have doubt wither or not Putin had motive, it is a complicated story. It has the look of a frame job. I guess there are forces in the world that want continued poor relations between Russia and the west. |

Looking at the time frame....it was just before the Presidential elections in Russia, and being a "strongman" is good for Putin.
Anyway, Putin won big time, with a huge turnout complete with video evidence of ballot stuffing*. Apparently in the major cities the news reporters are saying that almost no one in the 20-35 age range voted, which if that is the case makes the reported turnout % almost impossible, although the reports do indicate a very high turnout of older people. * this was according to this morning's radio news. |

The only "Man on the street" I can quote is me and mine. We are divided. Putin and a breakaway faction within Russia are the favourites, one statistical anomaly in that tiny sample study thinks it was stolen in the 70s and could be anyone.
