Im new to this folks, please be kind. I just really need to ask this. Why all the abreviations?! I spend half the day trying to figure out what half of you are talking about!

Sometimes I have to laugh though at "Preps" In NZ "Preps" are a feminine sanitary pad.

And what the heck is "SHTF"?

Please folks, can you please use the real words so we can all understand?
If first you dont succeed, you prolly aint a budgie...

Right, but wouldnt it be far better if you just said that so we didnt have to refer back to that key everytime there is a natural (or man made!) disaster??

Another thing to always keep in mind is, Dyslexics get really confused with abreviations. Fact.

I used to be dyslexic, but don't worry, I'm ko now.

You won't have to refer for long...You'll start to remember them very quickly...

I also had the same problem you had and I did what you did...I ask what does BoB mean and they told me...Bug out bag.

Now I read them as if the word were actually there...

The Dubya, comes from the way we Texans pronounce some letters, so in our 'dialect' W or Double U becomes Dub Ya. Don't ask. Im a native Texan and most times i cain't figure it out either... Wink
