Scotty has made me the happiest woman alive! He is pure pleasure.

We live 200 miles apart in the UK but we have met. We had exchanged addys before the PMs went down.

I'm on a pink cloud. There is life after Bird Flu. Wish us joy!

Love always finds a way! It's true that the internet can be a dangerous place, but I'm optimistic, I still think there are more good people than bad. I think it's so cool that you two have met. I wish the two of you long and happy lives together. This news has truely made my day today! I'm an admitted romantic, love does indeed make the world go around.
 
If you're refering to what I think you're refering to, there is more to that story, if you knew the whole thing you'd understand. It's not about keeping people apart. Trust Albert, he really cares about us.

Congratulations to you both, and I hope you'll be really happy together, able to pool your resources and talents if this does go pearshaped and have much more fun and laughter during SIP. I've got to admit, over the months reading this site - I'd wondered if the 2 of you might ever meet. Another reason to thank Albert for bringing you guys together :-)

One of my daughters met her boyfriend of over a year online. They plan to marry. I go to a chat room where there have been seven couples marry. I have a male friend who found someone on a match website. I think that the net is safer then a bar, where most people are drinking and not making good mental choices. You get to know each other. You have to be careful, I would never meet anyone for the first time alone, and always in a public place. Etc. I have been married for 33 years, before there was a internet. LOL Good luck to you both.

After being married 21 years, I had no idea about how to go about dating and meeting men. I went on a radio station that was interveiwing singles who wanted to meet someone for friendship, romance or relationships. With 5 kids, aged 21 to 11 years, all still living at home, I didn't think anyone  would be brave enough to  answer. Big Surprise. Had over 30 men reply over a 12 month period and found a wonderful man, Andy. We have now been together 4 years and become engaged 3 weeks ago. Planning an April wedding provided BF doesn't screw up our plans. The internet, chat rooms and personals are still frowned upon by lots of people but I know 7 couples who met this way and they are all enjoying their lives together.  Congradulations Scotty and Beth, May your journey together be long and pleasurable.
