http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/25/washington/25fiscal.html?_r=1&pagewanted=2&hp&oref=slogin
A single mother of two children earning $50,000 and paying at least $600 in taxes would receive $1,200 a $600 individual rebate and $300 a child. A married couple with three children earning $100,000 and paying at least $1,200 in taxes would receive $2,100 a $1,200 rebate and $300 a child.
it seems unfair too me the more kids you have ?

and money you make, the bigger the rebate. i have no kids so i guess, ill get no check or a very little one..
in china they penalize family's that have over 1 child..

One Child Policy

The one child policy was introduced in China in the year 1979. The leader of China at that time was Deng Xiaoping. This was the person who introduced this controversial new policy. The reason why the government introduced this was to try and control the total population of the country. This policy has produced two outcomes: the first being the reduction in the number of births per family and the second being the increase of the number of boys and the decrease of girls born. This meant that every family could have just one child.

This is a BS rebate just count how much more money you have spend on gas for the last 8 years under Bush and you see that it will be much more than this miserly rebate
I used to spend $20a week before Bush 20X52 = 1040 a year
Now I spend $60 a week with the Texas Oil Bush 60X52 =3120
Total 3120 -1040 = 2080
This is not adding any thing else that went up because of hi energy costs
So now they are giving back another 600 bucks O boy I am going to buy me some more gas

They always exclude the non tax paying poor, They are the ones who need it most and would spend it. They gave away breaks and other concessions to get the bill through, and they also took food stamps and extra enemployment off the table to do it. Small business to the government isn't mom and pop, it rather large companies, all they do is bluff and get more breaks, It's like lier's poker, and they always find out a way to hold the winner's hand and make their ends meet.

and as you see the wealthier home owners and banks get a big break also in the package dealing of cards out..
The Federal Housing Administration would be able to insure home loans of up to $725,000

,
from the current $362,000 ceiling.

Well the bill isn't finalized yet from what I heard, I guess they need to get some more pork in before it will fly.

I guess the mansion owners will get the max, Their maid will get nil ,from the bill on the hill.

Money never trickles down, It floods up. Defying "the gravity" the whole time. CGH

The maids, look like they have it made! I guess they are celebrating the home owner is using his refund for a vaca on "Club Fed" and won't be around to screw them.

The last rebate I got nil, although it did cost them 3 gov. letter's postage and processing to tell me. I guess I'm just another Made Man without a maid to pick up after me!
