We felt it in San Diego, but it wasn't much. From this far away it was just a weird rolling sensation.
"Buy it cheap. Stack it deep"
"Any community that fails to prepare, with the expectation that the federal government will come to the rescue, will be tragically wrong." Michael Leavitt, HHS Secretary.

ahh I didnt feel it cuz im in Nor Cal but if I was already started at my college, UC Riverside, then I woulda felt it because I hear that Chino Hills is pretty close to Riverside.
Also I learned that our residential housing asso. supplies everyone with a backpack that has 3 days worth of food and water and also has a first aid kit in it; they give that to us on move-in day I think. That could be a useful thing to have, I wonder if other schools do that.

Be prepared! It may be time....^_^v

I have never heard of this before, I think it is wonderful. I hope you add some personal touches to your pack such as emergency numbers, some change for payphones in case the cell phones are down, a little cash in-case you need to take a bus home in an emergency, medical/allergy information, emergency contact information, a set of sweats and socks and a pair of walking shoes, plus extra food and water. Clap

Good luck on your new school and classes. What will you be studying so far from home?Smile
