Amantadine - when to take

   I purchased 300 amantadine pills a couple of years ago along with six boxes of Tamiflu. I wanted the Amantadine to take to help prevent my family and me getting the flu in the first place - should there be a pandemic.

How long does amantadine take to start working / protecting you? If things carry on the way they are, I give it a week until it hits us. When should we start taking amantadine?
