Alberta Health Services says ten people have now died from various influenza strains in the province.  Another 300 people are in hospital with the flu, while 40 of those are in intensive care.  AHS is also confirming more people have now gotten flu shots this season than in all of last year’s flu season.  Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jim Talbot says they will be focusing on getting vaccines into clinics, rather than drug stores now.  Talbot stresses pharmacies will still have the vaccine, just not every one, and you’re best to call ahead before making a trip.
