This article suggests a new basis for Flu vaccines. They have only been tried in mice so far but suggest a possible master-vaccine that would confer considerable imunity to:
A/EM/Korea/W149/06(H5N1), A/PR/8/34(H1N1), A/Aquatic bird/Korea/W81/2005(H5N2), A/Aquatic bird/Korea/W44/2005(H7N3), and A/Chicken/Korea/116/2004(H9N2). So its not all doom and gloom. http://www.myjournals.org/index.php?nr=293938 |

Technophobe, mother nature will have her way...or something like that from Jurassic Park.
They may find a vaccine for flu then something else will come along like MERS or worse. So do not fear if we don't have flu to worry about it will be something! |
