Breaking News - thousands fleeing into the streets as a powerful earthquake rocks Mexico City.
Medclinician - CWN - GIM I do hate it when mainstream and YouTube takes down the live feeds of things happening put up by individuals at the scene. This kind of ruins the entire concept of Independent News. They try to "own" material sent to them by people. They don't. New link |

Tuesdays "violent" Magnitude 7.1 earthquake near Mexico City has not had __ANY__ after-shocks. NONE! Geologists are now panicking that the strong quake was, in fact, a "FORESHOCK" of a very much LARGER EARTHQUAKE coming within a day or two. The last time a Magnitude 7 or above earthquake took place with NO aftershocks was ONE DAY before the staggering Magnitude 9.2 which destroyed much of Japan in March, 2011. The fact that there have been no aftershocks from the Mexico quake means something utterly horrific is quite likely either for that area or, worse, somewhere else along the same (or nearby) fault system. It is worth noting that the same - and nearby - fault system connects directly to the San Andreas Fault running through California. It is also worth noting that Tuesday's Magnitude 7.1 was farther NORTH than the several weeks previous Magnitude 8.4 which struck in Mexico. So the tension is moving NORTH . . . . toward California. Folks on the US West Coast would be very wise to prepare for a really big . . . emergency. (DJ; loking at USGS-still no aftershocks in the M7.1 hit region-could indicate something could follow). Dutchsinsehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v9OlgY6rN0&feature=share M6/M6,5 in nw Mexico or/and Central Caribean-normal flow would be South East so after the M8 11 days later an M7.1 North West is not the "normal"path. |

I cannot over-state the danger of what we see taking place in the video above. The fact that this road is moving up and down, and hissing as underground gas comes out, is an absolute warning sign that another E X T R E M E L Y L A R G E earthquake is pending in that region. What's taking place to cause this gassing is that the earth is being squeezed with so much pressure, gas is venting out of the surface. All that squeezing means something very big is building underground. This type of out-gassing was noted in China in 1978 before a major earthquake there killed over 255,000 people! The Tangshan earthquake, also known as the Great Tangshan earthquake, was a natural disaster that occurred on July 28, 1976. It is believed to be the largest earthquake of the 20th century by death toll. The epicenter of the earthquake was near Tangshan in Hebei, People's Republic of China, an industrial city with approximately one million inhabitants. The number of deaths initially reported by the Chinese government was 655,000, but this number has since been stated to be around 240,000 to 255,000. (DJ-of course there could be a leaking gas-pipeline, sewagesystem or other reason for this video-so the video in itself is not proof of anything!) |

We are seeing a warning that multiple huge quakes could rock the West Coast and North America soon all the way from Canada to Mexico. I have started a second thread because things have been shaking here for days - with hundreds of aftershocks.
From seismologists I have talked to the "Big One" is still going to hit LA and it may put it underwater and make Death Valley a coastline. There are huge forces ripping at the tectonic plates here and also further south in South America. There is a limit to how big these can be - but the rule is for each level of magnitude it is 10x the one below it. Example would be several 6.x which have happened to us in California. The have been 9.xs in history. This mean a 9 quake (nearly the limit of what a quake can be - it tops off at 10) would be a thousand times worse. When you hit 8 - I have been told we near what even a tough building can take. I will say this simply - we can expect an 8.x in California "not if - but when" and certainly a 9.x in Mexico or parts of Latin America soon. Medclinician |
