There's a website (link posted below) where they list a preview for the coupons coming out in that Sunday's edition of the paper - so you can tell by Wednesday or Thursday of every week what coupons are coming out, how many papers to stock up on accordingly, and more importantly, plan your attack for the store when you go shopping! Become a shopping ninja and stealthily move through the aisles, only throwing the great deals into your cart + your regular needs and move along before they know they've been raided! LOL

Since the new grocery ads will be out tomorrow, when you log into the taylortown website either tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday, you can begin to match the grocery ads with the coupons that they'll have in the Sunday paper. Keep an eye out for any canned/dry goods/toiletries that can be used to stock up on in order to prepare yourself for an emergency.

Drug store sale ads run from Sunday-Saturday, where most grocery store ads are from Wednesday-Tuesday. If anyone has questions, and if I can help anyone with the coupon stuff, don't hesitate to send me a message - I'll do what I can to help. Cheers!

FakinBacon,

I play GG, too.  I found this site via a thread regarding Bird Flu posted  early last week or the week before.

I'm looking at how I stockpile in a different light now.  My new game plan:

I no longer will stock up the freezer to copacity, and only purchase meats for  2 weeks max since some type always shows up on list.

Next, fresh veggies and fruir for current eating

Otherwise, I plan to stock up on nonperishables, OTCs, hygiene, hh, camping supplies, batteries, etc.

Today, I purchased:
12 8 oz.  bottles of antiibacterial hand soap
15 8 0z bottles of hand sanitizer
6- large bottles body wash
4- 3 packs Tone body soap
12 boxes of various sized bandages
24 protein bars
5 bottles of Vaseline Renewal lotion
4 packets of Aleve Cold/Flu OTC
12 bottles Ajax dish soap
6 containers Ajax  with bleach cleanser
8 bottles of children multi vitamins good until 9/07
Total for all after coupons & including tax:

$48.73

Good for you, Phoenixrising!

Do you have a CVS in your area? They have ECBs on Flinstones vitamins for kids right now - buy 3 get $5 ECBs. Use your $1 coupons from last weeks inserts, and you end up getting the vitamins for around $3.32 a bottle after ECBs. They also have the same ECB deal for Aleve cold medicine right now, as well as Alka Seltzer cold medicine. I'll be getting the Flinstones as well as the Aleve cold medicine - I have $2 ECB from last week so I'm getting 3 Aleve cold medicines for $1.97, after coupons and ECBs. A great way to stock up!

My freezers are bursting to capacity anyway, so like you I'm concentrating on canned and dry goods. I stocked up on antibacterial hand soap last week when they had it for $1 at Safeway - I had coupons that made it all free. One thing I have yet to do is stock up on batteries, some sort of camp stove and figure out water purification and what I'll do about it *sigh*. There are so many knowledgeable people on this board, so I'm reading their posts on the issue trying to figure out what camp stove is best and what is the best method for water purification for us.

Isn't GG the best? :)

Don't forget Walmart also guarantee's to match prices, so you can save time and gas.

Unfortunately, Walmart does not double or triple coupons, which saves a ton over regular prices.  I only shop at 3 stores all in the same strip mall.

Example:  Walmart sells Ivory 3-pack soap for .79 cents, after a .25 cent coupon, I pay .54 cents.  At my grocery store, the regular price is 1.29, but on sale for 1.00.  After having my coupon tripled, I only pay .25 for the soap, and actually save 82% over Walmart's regular price w/o coupon, and 53% over Walmart's regular price minus .25 cent coupon.

Walmart is not always cheepest , especially when other stores double/trible coupons these days.
