There is a 40% discount group buy here: http://warrifles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23284 .

The following are two excerpts from a related discussion here: http://warrifles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23098 .

Part 1:

Ultima is more suitable for oral rehydration than Pedialyte. Here's why:

Pedialyte, based on an 8oz. serving, contains 3 electrolytes and minerals, Ultima, based also on an 8oz. serving, contatins 13.

Pedialyte contains 5.9 grams of simple sugar, while Ultima contains zero sugar, and 3 grams of complex carbs (maltodextrin, from corn, like PowerBar).

Calories are 24 grams for Pedialyte, 25 grams for Ultima.

Ultima contains 37.5 mg of sodium, Pedialyte 10.5.
Ultima contains 75 mg of potassium, Pedialyte 4.5.
Ultima contains 12 mg of magnesium, Pedialyte 0.
Ultima contains 34.5 mg of calcium, Pedialyte 0.

Ultima uses no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.
Pedialyte uses artificial colors, artificial flavors and artificial sweeteners.

Our biggest customer is Whole Foods Market. They don't sell Pedialyte because of the above.

Part 2:

The maximum storage life is 3 years from manufacture sealed (we date for 2 years as a "sell by" date).

The maximum storage life once unsealed is 3 months in a dry cool environment. In humid or warm climates, Ultima will not hold up as well and we recommend the individual packets, which are available by the box.

Later:

I will match any purchases destined for our military in the desert with another box or can and other goodies. So, 2ifbyC, if you purchase one for the sandbox, Utima will donate another and take care of the shipping.

-KF

Yes, you must register to order there but without any required membership dues/fees and it's pain free!Hug Plus the folk there are terrific (except for me Wink).

I am not associated in any way with the manufacturer other than being very pleased with their products, attitude and generosity. Clap

.
Along with posting (being a member) here, I also post stuff at the above mentioned warrifles.com.  More important than posting, I feel both sites have provided me with TONS of knowledge about things I NEEDED to know about.

Here we talk about avian flu, at warrifles, the primary discussion is about guns and prepping by members of the Survivalist Community. They are very pro-gun. Prepping to many of us is a new thing, but to members of warrifles it has been a "mantra" for some time.

One of the REALLY great things about warriffles is that they have combined their buying power to do something called "Group Buys".  A great husband and wife team organize and run large collective order, direct with a manufacturer. They get NOTHING free and NO special discounts. Their work is considered service to "their community".

With Ultima Replinisher, they are dealing directly with the company President, who has signed up* and contributes to the Ultima Group Buy thread. He answered questions about his product and VERY generously has offered to match case for case all donations to U.S. soldiers in the Mid East.

They are offering it the same discount the they give their employees and military personnel, which is 40%. If you are interested in participating in the Group Buy for Ultima Replenisher, It will be in the post below.

Gilmore

P.S. I have no financial interest in, or receive discounts from ANY companies products I post about. . .

P.P.S. They also have upcoming buys for:
Mayday Emergency Food Bars
Mountain
House Backpacking and Emergency Foods
AlpineAire Emergency food and supplies

* There is NO charges or fees to join warrifles or any of their Group Buys.

NOTE: Broadsword and Dijon are the husband and wife team that organize Group Buys. You must sign up (no cost or fees) to warrifles.com to read the link listed below.

OK guys here we go,
The Ultma Replenisher group buy is now underway. Since we don't have to get back with you to confirm a shipping total thanks to Seth's offer of $5.00 flat rate shipping per order, we can take payment right away. We're going to run this one alot faster than a Mountain House buy since we don't have to wait for shipping totals and it sounds like Seth has product in stock to handle us. We can start taking orders now and will take orders until Mothers Day May 14th. On Monday morning May 15th
Dijon will send the orders to Seth and wire transfer the money to him. Depending on how Seth handles it from there we should start seeing delivery that week sometime.
OK, now to help
Dijon out please send us your order via email at
broadsword2269@yahoo.com in the format below only. She will respond to every email to confirm that your order was recieved but please keep in mind that she does work a full time job and takes care of a house, three little ones and Broadsword so it might take her up to 48 hours to reply. If you haven't heard from her in that time please email her a reminder.

Screen Name
Real Name
Shipping Address

 We'll take Gearpay
http://www.gearpay.com/ or a USPS money order as payment. Please remember to add $5.00 for shipping on each order and please let us know if your buying product to donate to the troops overseas. Seth and his company will match donations to the troops case for case.
You can imagine how badly they need this stuff. I'll ask Seth to try and keep track for us so we'll know what contribution War Rifles has made to our troops. If there are any questions or concerns
please post them here (NOTE: warrifles.com) so we can address them in the open for the benifit of everyone. Dijon and I are always availabe via email at broadsword2269@yahoo.com and, like always, you can email or PM any moderator on this board (NOTE: warrifles.com)(Including Brian) anytime you need them.

Here are the special prices we're getting from Seth.

i've been on warrifles for some time and have had only positive experience with everyone there.  a really nice , knowlegible crowd of folks.  particularly if you want to learn anything about defensive firearms, or the history thereof.
