Lot of us sure do have a lot of food stored. Might be a good idea to keep some De-con or the like on hand. Hate to lose my food to mice. |

Considering that H5N1 also infects cats it might be a good idea to keep some Decon around in case the cat's get wiped out and the rat population soars.

Remember too, that deer mice carry the "hanta virus" ... we've had to live with that here in the southwest ...
hmmmm ... maybe that's why my parents don't have cats anymore!?

Be careful putting mouse poison too close to any food stores. Mice will carry food (ie poison) and then if they get into your food stores, it can get mixed in. Because of that, and because we have little kids, we are stocking sticky traps instead.
