You know those glass jars that come in different sizes that have a lid attached to it by metal hooks and you clamp it shut with a metal clamp type thing? Well the inside of the lid has a rubber ring that fits on the lid and helps seal the contents. Can I buy replacement rubber rings for this type of storage jar? Where would I find them.

The OLD type canning jars. Yes you can, but I will have to look up the web site as I have not been there in a while.

You can get these at Lehman's and they're good for using the jars to store dry things like beans, flour, etc. but please don't use them for canning foods that might spoil. They are not safe. The newer canning lids that have a metal ring and metal cover are needed for canning fruits, veggies, meats, soup, etc.
Good luck!
