Off of an earlier post about forming groups for survival, the purpose of this room is to debate and choose a place where everyone here, if isolated by themselves, can travel to a single location where we can form a group.
This presumes most or many of us survive. It also depends on how choked the roads are going to be with stalled cars with dead people in them. I live in Seattle and we have one primary highway and several larger ones going south and east. The main road is I-5, which goes from Seattle all the way to southern California. If we are to select a rendezvous point, we must make sure it has the resources we need in order to survive. As some of you may be aware, Washington State has a peninsula (sp) because of Puget Sound. On the coast of the peninsula is a town called Westport. It's a fishing town and we might be able to get boats. Fish means meat, and if we use nets we could supply everyone with food, even during the winter. Anyone else have a suggestion for a rendezvous point? |

Westport works for me. They have the best fried clams there. Maybe we should have a trial run and meet at the fried clam restaurant. Then we can check out the lay of the land.
