I was thinking about this one.

It's kind of expensive but I was planning to push the water through a carbon filter to help remove the chlorine that I use to disinfect the water.

I have a cheap syphon for my 55gals.  Any hose will do in a pinch.

While it is still empty, you can cut a small round  hole in the side of the barrel
about 3 inches from the bottom.  Buy a regular hose bib type faucet
thingy and install in one the side of the barrel.  Use that caulk
stuff to seal around your faucet and voila, you have a barrel that you can
attach a hose to.

I got a £20 pump that runs off the mains. (can always use genny) This is to pump water out of my extra water butts when they get installed to save bailing it.
Or a simple hose syphon will always work.

To syphon all you need is a hose or tube, put one end into the water barrel, the other end needs to be lower, then suck on the end (not in the water) and the water will come pouring out of the available end. It only takes a few seconds. Have your container ready for the water to go into. My barrel came with a spigot already installed on it, so I don't have to worry about this. Also my entire top twists off to allow you to dip into it to get water out.
