What's everyone working on this month? Our tomato and pepper plants are doing well, it's getting really hot out, I guess they needed the hot weather! The plums are totally gone, animals of some sort must have got them all. Peaches, there are only a few left, some type of animals getting those too. Just trying to sort through and organize what I have for this month.

I have my house in order now I need to get my basement in order...the thing I hate to do the most...the basement! Summer is going fast before I know it I will be back at work!
I am trying to decide what to do with my garden. It is covered in black plastic right now to get rid of all the weeds. I have to figure out what I will use since I am basically alone now. As I get older and have no one to feed except myself not sure what to do. Any suggestions. My garden is 85ft long but only 3 ft. wide. It goes along the back of my yard. Happy 4th! |

Flu Mom, are there perennials (plants that will come up year after year) that you could use, like berry bushes, that will not need a lot of hard work once they are planted (a consideration as we all age).
