New Wave of Iranians Seek U.S. Studies ...........................................................................
New York Times | Aug 10, 2010
Since 1979, when tens of thousands of Iranians studied in the United States, the number of Iranian students in the United States has taken an almost uninterrupted nosedive, bottoming out at fewer than 1,700 students in 1999. Since then, the number of students has begun a slow but steady rise, with more Iranians in the country now than at any other point since 1994, says the Institute of International Education in New York. But just to get to the United States ambitious students face obstacles ranging from the inconvenient to the daunting, testing the mettle of even the most steadfast. Student visas can take many months to obtain. Because of security concerns, Iranians face background checks that the State Department refers to as additional administrative processing by the American authorities. Because there is no American Embassy in Iran, students must travel to American embassies or consulates in other countries to apply. Ms. Fathi submitted her visa application in Cyprus, which she estimates cost her $5,000 in travel and other expenses. ........................

So far Obama, Bloomberg and Hamas are all for Ground Zero Mosque.
Let’s keep the count who else. Any other thought about religious freedom, How about Japanese memorial at Perl Harbor. What about making Prophet Mohammed one of the saints, St Mohammed Church in Mecca and Medina. I think we have an interesting ideology here in “America if you can beat then them join them” In the 1960 we were afraid of loosing Puerto Rico to Marxists Cuban ideology what we did is to open New York City to half of Puerto Rico population. Apparently we the Americans are behind financing of all the new “moderate” Islamic centers around the world. Today they are moderate tomorrow they are not. The last war that we did win was the WWII, because we beat Japanese into the pulp and then nuked them a couple of times, since then we were playing in a humanitarian war that we keep losing and losing, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, |

The Obama administration and most Congressional Democrats want to extend the Bush tax cuts for individuals making less than $200,000 and couples making less than $250,000, but let them lapse for those earning more than those levels.
Republicans and some Democrats (including three senators) are pushing for an extension of all the cuts, and have argued that government revenue would be higher if that happens because lower taxes spur economic growth. 8 sneaky ways to raise taxes

What were they Thinking?
Twenty-one atmospheric nuclear tests in Australia and Christmas Island between 1952 and 1958.
.................................................................................................................................................................. The Australian people have always been sensitive to what they consider to be the patronising behaviour of their old colonial rulers and the nuclear tests are a classic example of the attitudes they have grown to resent so deeply. The initial agreement to the use of Australian locations as atomic bomb test sites was gained within a few days of a telegrammed request from Clement Attlee to Robert Menzies, and the first tests took place without any formal consultation.
When dissident voices were raised among members of the Australian Labor Party, the Minister for supply, Howard Beale, issued a statement proclaiming: 'The whole project is a striking example of inter-Commonwealth co-operation on the grand scale. England has the bomb and the know-how, we have the open spaces, much technical skill and a great willingness to help the Motherland.'
the Australian people are thus not merely concerned with Britain's conduct of the tests but with the behaviour of their own authorities; particularly of such men as Sir Ernest Titterton, the physicist on the Australian Weapons Test Safety Committee whose job it was to protect the interests of the Australian people during the test programme, and Sir Howard Beale, the Minister responsible.
excerpt from Christmas Island Atomic Bomb Test
928 Announced Nuclear Tests at Nevada Test Site. ........................................................................................ .................................................................................................... 1951–1992
........................ Between 1951 and 1992, there were a total of 928 announced nuclear tests at Nevada Test Site. Of
those, 828 were underground.[3] (Sixty-two of the underground tests included multiple,
simultaneous nuclear detonations, adding 93 detonations and bringing the total number of NTS nuclear detonations to 1,021, of which 921 were underground.)[4] The site is covered with subsidence craters from the testing. The Nevada Test Site was the primary testing location of American nuclear devices; 126 tests were conducted elsewhere (many at the Pacific Proving Grounds in the Marshall Islands). Protests and demonstrations
...................................................... From 1986 through 1994, two years after the United States put a hold on full-scale nuclear weapons
testing, 536 demonstrations were held at the Nevada Test Site involving 37,488 participants and
15,740 arrests, according to government records.[7]

A QUIET Islamic Invasion
..................................................................................................................................
The Huffington Post ............................................... September 29, 2010
Andrew Reinbach Journalist Posted: September 27, 2010 12:10 AM excerpt-
...In fairness to both the town and Sidney Center -- population 1,391, area 44 square miles -- the Shaykh, in his flowing robes, long beard and turban, must cut quite a figure to deeply traditional, rural Americans. And the fears that fasten on him and his followers aren't helped by the fact that in the past year or so, Muslims have been buying property near the center, spurring speculation that the ultimate plan is to create a town-within-a-town, governed by Sharia law. "I understand [those fears], but that's not our intention," says the Shaykh, who says no more than a half-dozen Muslims have bought property nearby. "They just want to participate [in the center], get away from the city, and live a clean life." And in fact that's exactly why the Shaykh and his 30-some followers moved to the 50-acre sheep farm in Sidney Center in 2002, his basic teachings being that since the world is what it is, people who want to live a spiritual life need to live apart from it - not unlike Hasidic Jews or Amish people.
Then, he says, there have been the "dozens" of visits by various police departments since 2002 -- including one in 2003, made by the FBI on a Muslim holy day -- the Eid-ul Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. That visit, says Capt. Barnes, was triggered by a report that a man wanted for murder was seen on the property. Hass says it was because of reports of "people with turbans." Captain Barnes says his men have made "only about a half-dozen" official visits to the center, although he concedes there may have been more, unofficial visits from members of his Troop as well as Delaware County and Sidney police. Talal ibn Abd al-Aziz
.....................................
August 15, 1932 (1932-08-15) (age 78)
sometimes called "The Red Prince", is a member of the House of Saud and a half
brother to King Abdullah
'Talal continued to push for reform and criticise the leadership of the Kingdom.'
He tried to make a difference
......................................................
Prince Talal was one of a group of reformers and leader within the royal family known as the Free Princes. In 1958 he wrote a proposed constitution for Saudi Arabia which would have created a constitutional monarchy and expanded civil rights. He began to assemble an elected advisory committee, but his ideas were rejected by the king, and religious leaders in Saudi Arabia issued a fatwa declaring his constitution to be contrary to Islamic law. In 1961 the kingdom revoked his passport and attempted to silence him, but he expatriated to Egypt and declared himself a socialist. There, influenced by Gamal Abdel Nasser, Talal continued to push for reform and criticise the leadership of the Kingdom.
In 1964 Talal agreed to temper his criticisms in exchange for permission to reenter Saudi Arabia. He is now a successful businessman and prominent philanthropist. Though a senior member of the Al Saud, his past political forays may have diluted any hopes of a future claim for the throne, though he denies it.
Prince Talal resumed his push for reform in Saudi Arabia in September 2007, when he announced his desire to form a political party (illegal in Saudi Arabia) to advance his goal of liberalizing the country.

This is an interesting article.... this company was purchased by Google... an
undisclosed amout, like 12 billion? It gives you an idea of how these people think...
interesting as you won't hear any of it from google type lips.
A stealth start-up out of Stanford University
is hoping to raise the heat on one of the
toughest problems in Web search--and possibly out-Google Google in the process.
...The main task will be getting the user interface right. That means giving people notice of what data has been collected, where that data will be stored and how it will be used. It
also means giving users the choice of changing data or removing it. "A lot of it is going to
be experimental. Personalization can turn people off if it's interfering and annoys them,"
said Amanda Spink, professor of information science at the University at Pittsburgh.

............. Power Struggle - Iraq ........................................... journeymanpictures - November 01, 2010 November 2010 As US troops finally withdraw from Iraq, can the country's huge oil reservoirs bring it prosperity and security at last? Or will it further divide this war-torn land between the haves and the have-nots? The rusty old Dora Power Station sits on a quarter of the world's energy resources but creaks out only half the energy produced under Saddam. Squatter families like Zaheda's struggle to find clean water in the middle of a sweltering Baghdad summer. And with only two hours of electricity a day from the national grid, Iraqis queue for hours for petrol to fuel generators. "We are the richest country in the world, but right now we're the poorest". Once the target for insurgency bombings, now the country's vital oil installations are under the fierce protection of the Iraq oil police. Brigadier Abdul Karim Salem is quick to describe the "rampant corruption" within his organisation. Yet patrolling the still untapped oil fields in Basra and Rumaila, his superiors are more concerned with the dream of producing "12 million barrels a day".
New laws setting out how to distribute the vast oil wealth of the country are stuck in Parliament. And whilst the international bidding war for the country's oil reserves reaches a frenzy, the people of Iraq wait for their bickering politicians to form a government, enduring constant blackouts, and dry petrol stations. Yesterday we were talking about the fact that ...soon we will not be using paper / metal
currency. It's expensive to make and store and people seem to want to steal it.
No more printing it ...no more Brinks trucks... no more bank robbers.... no more Hallmark
money cards..... money trees at weddings... or quarters for the tooth fairy.
perhaps it will take some time to get there, but we will get there.
you all are aware that you will need to get your special ID card in about one year.
(seems the timeline varies )
I'm not sure why it isn't more well known... there may be a backlash if they sneak it up on
folks... like the vaccine debacle....
this is another interesting development- Wave of the future...

Contactless smartcards - are a chip plus antenna between 2 layers of plastic, the card need only be near the reader to be read. And the exchange of data would
take place over radio frequency waves.

A contactless smart card is any pocket-sized card with embedded integrated circuits which can process and store data, and communicate with a terminal via radio waves. There are two broad categories of contactless smart cards. Memory cards contain non-volatile memory storage components, and perhaps some specific security logic.
Contactless smart cards do not contain an ordinary read-only RFID, but they do contain a re-writable smart card microchip that can be transcribed via radio waves.
A "contactless smart card" is also characterized as follows:
[edit] BenefitsContactless smart cards can be used for identification, authentication, and data storage.[1] Contactless smart cards provide a means of effecting business transactions in a flexible, secure, standard way with minimal human intervention. [edit] HistorySmart cards with contactless interfaces are becoming increasingly popular for payment and ticketing applications such as mass transit. Visa and MasterCard have agreed to an easy-to-implement version currently being deployed (2004–2006) in the USA. Globally, contactless fare collection is being employed for efficiencies in public transit. The various standards emerging are local in focus and are not compatible, though the MIFARE Standard card from Philips has a large market share in the US and Europe. Smart cards are being introduced in personal identification and entitlement schemes at regional, national, and international levels. Citizen cards, drivers’ licenses, and patient card schemes are becoming more prevalent. In Malaysia, the compulsory national ID scheme MyKad includes 8 different applications and is rolled out for 18 million users. Contactless smart cards are being integrated into ICAO biometric passports to enhance security for international travel. [edit] ReadersContactless smart card readers use radio waves to communicate with, and both read and write data on a smart card. When used for electronic payment, they are commonly located near PIN pads, cash registers and other places of payment. When the readers are used for public transit they are commonly located on fare boxes, ticket machines, turnstiles, and station platforms as a standalone unit. When used for security, readers are usually located to the side of an entry door. [edit] TechnologySee also: List of smart cards
A contactless smart card is a card in which the chip communicates with the card reader through an induction technology similar to that of an RFID (at data rates of 106 to 848 kbit/s). These cards require only close proximity to an antenna to complete a transaction. They are often used when transactions must be processed quickly or hands-free, such as on mass transit systems, where a smart card can be used without even removing it from a wallet. The standard for contactless smart card communications is ISO/IEC 14443. It defines two types of contactless cards ("A" and "B") and allows for communications at distances up to 10 cm. There had been proposals for ISO/IEC 14443 types C, D, E, F and G that have been rejected by the International Organization for Standardization. An alternative standard for contactless smart cards is ISO/IEC 15693, which allows communications at distances up to 50 cm. Example of widely used contactless smart cards are Hong Kong's Octopus card, Shanghai's Public Transportation Card, South Korea's T-money (bus, subway, taxi), London's Oyster card, Beijing's Municipal Administration and Communications Card, Japan Rail's Suica Card, which predate the ISO/IEC 14443 standard. The following tables list smart cards used for public transportation and other electronic purse applications. First Data delivers Contactless Credit and Debit cards for its customers. A related contactless technology is RFID (radio frequency identification). In certain cases, it can be used for applications similar to those of contactless smart cards, such as for electronic toll collection. RFID devices usually do not include writeable memory or microcontroller processing capability as contactless smart cards often do. There are dual-interface cards that implement contactless and contact interfaces on a single card with some shared storage and processing. An example is Porto's multi-application transport card, called Andante, that uses a chip in contact and contactless (ISO/IEC 14443 type B) mode. Like smart cards with contacts, contactless cards do not have a battery. Instead, they use a built-in inductor, using the principle of resonant inductive coupling, to capture some of the incident electromagnetic signal, rectify it, and use it to power the card's electronics. [edit] Communication protocols
[edit] Applications[edit] Credit card contactless technologyThese are the best known payment cards (classical plastic card):
Roll-outs started in 2005 in USA, and in 2006 in some parts of Europe (England) and Asia (Singapore)[citation needed]. In USA, contactless (non PIN) transactions cover a payment range of ~$5–50. There is an ISO/IEC 14443 PayPass implementation. All PayPass implementations may be separated on EMV and non EMV. Non-EMV cards work like magnetic stripe cards. This is a typical card technology in the USA (PayPass Magstripe and VISA MSD). The cards do not control amount remaining. All payment passes without a PIN and usually in off-line mode. The security level of such a transaction is no greater than with classical magnetic stripe card transaction. EMV cards have two interfaces (contact and contactless) and they work as a normal EMV card via contact interface. Via contactless interface they work almost like an EMV (card command sequence adopted on contactless features as low power and short transaction time). [edit] Other financial applicationThe applications of Contactless smart cards include their use as credit or ATM cards, in a fuel card, authorization cards for pay television, pre-pay utilities in household, high-security identification and access-control cards, and public transport payment cards. Smart cards may also be used as electronic wallets. The smart card chip can be loaded with funds which can be spent in vending machines or at various merchants. Cryptographic protocols protect the exchange of money between the Contactless smart card and the accepting machine. [edit] IdentificationA quickly growing application is in digital identification cards. In this application, the cards are used for authentication of identity. The most common example is in conjunction with a PKI. The smart card will store an encrypted digital certificate issued from the PKI along with any other relevant or needed information about the card holder. Examples include the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC), and the use of various smart cards by many governments as identification cards for their citizens. When combined with biometrics, smart cards can provide two- or three-factor authentication. Smart cards are not always a privacy-enhancing technology, for the subject carries possibly incriminating information about him all the time. By employing contactless smart cards, that can be read without having to remove the card from the wallet or even the garment it is in, one can add even more authentication value to the human carrier of the cards. [edit] Transportation
Oyster Card in London, Navigo pass in Paris, the access card in Stockholm, the Clipper card in San Francisco, and Octopus card in Hong Kong are examples of contactless smart cards used for transportation. These cards usually contain electronic purses, and may store access rights too. [edit] OtherThe Malaysian government uses smart card technology in identity cards carried by all Malaysian citizens and resident non-citizens. The personal information inside the smart card (called MYKAD) can be read using special APDU commands.MYKAD SDK [edit] SecuritySmart cards have been advertised as suitable for personal identification tasks, because they are engineered to be tamper resistant. The embedded chip of a smart card usually implements some cryptographic algorithm. There are, however, several methods of recovering some of the algorithm's internal state. [edit] Differential power analysisDifferential power analysis[2] involves measuring the precise time and electrical current[dubious – discuss] required for certain encryption or decryption operations. This is most often used against public key algorithms such as RSA in order to deduce the on-chip private key, although some implementations of symmetric ciphers can be vulnerable to timing or power attacks as well. [edit] Physical disassemblySmart cards can be physically disassembled by using acid, abrasives, or some other technique to obtain direct, unrestricted access to the on-board microprocessor. Although such techniques obviously involve a fairly high risk of permanent damage to the chip, they permit much more detailed information (e.g. photomicrographs of encryption hardware) to be extracted. [edit] ProblemsAnother problem of smart cards may be the failure rate. The plastic card in which the chip is embedded is fairly flexible, and the larger the chip, the higher the probability of breaking. Smart cards are often carried in wallets or pockets — a fairly harsh environment for a chip. However, for large banking systems, the failure-management cost can be more than offset by the fraud reduction. A card enclosure might be a good idea. Using a smart card for mass transit presents a risk for privacy, because such a system enables the mass transit operator (and the authorities) to track the movement of individuals. In Finland, the Data Protection Ombudsman prohibited the transport operator YTV from collecting such information, in spite of YTV's argument that the owner of the card has the right to get a list of journeys paid with the card. Prior to this, such information was used in the investigation of the Myyrmanni bombing. [edit] Proper disposalWhile many contactless smart card users are unaware they are carrying a computer chip in their card and dispose of it by simply throwing it away, it is recommended by most manufacturers and RFID technology experts[who?] that these cards be disposed of by shredding them in a paper shredder, or cutting into pieces smaller than 1 cm,[dubious – discuss] to avoid identity theft and/or fraudulent use. wikipedia

Electronic Finance: Reshaping the Financial Landscape Around the World page 16 of 36
Eventually, traditional stock markets such as the New York Stock Exchange will cease to exist in their current form. Reflecting these competitive pressures, and the more general desire for increased liquidity through larger markets, many stock exchanges in developed countries have established links, merged, or even de-mutualized (that is, become for-profit organizations rather than cooperative, not-for-profit organizations). Recent examples include the (proposed) mergers between the Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris exchanges and between the London and Frankfurt exchanges (the so-called iX), joint ventures and alliances between Nasdaq and stock exchanges in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong (China), and Japan, and a joint venture between Nasdaq and the proposed iX focused on growth stocks. The Singapore and Australian stock exchanges recently agreed to cross-list all traded shares. The New York Stock Exchange has formed alliances with the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Australian Stock Exchange, Toronto Stock Exchange, Mexican Bolsa, S.o Paulo Bovespa, and Euronext to trade through linked exchanges 24 hours a day. The consolidation of these markets accounting for more than 60
percent of global market turnover is leading to a smaller number of very large markets. ...............................

If we are all well read we can have an intelligent conversation
with the people that represent us.
If we discuss new technology it will lose it's largess and become every day fare.
We have to move forward. As the population grows we will need to become more
streamlined, faster, in our everyday processes.
Dining out will be faster... you text your order to Panera and when you get in line it is
just to give a confirmation number and grab a buzzer, after you show your smart card.
Remember the population will be greater .... fast food restaurants will be quite large. And
due to population we wil have to use mass transit.
Note... This (smart card ) is a card to be used by Govt. Agency's & contractors at this point.
It is good to know about this... as we may be looking at it for some areas... financial or
medical for citizens.
the enhanced license is another form of ID card that the Govt. wants to implement in
degrees begining with our more compliant youth and moving after a year or two to us
older parents and grandparents.
The above will be REQUIRED unless you care to speak up to congress on this topic
now
would be a good time to do it.
Scroll down through this page to check info on the required enhanced license
A short version here-
Secretary Napolitano has supported the efforts of Governors and Congress to enact PASS ID, which puts states on the path to implementing national standards for identification documents…
“…DHS is extending the Dec. 31 REAL ID material compliance deadline. The May 10, 2011, deadline for full compliance remains in effect… Congress must act to address systemic problems with the REAL ID Act to advance our security interests over the long term. DHS is committed to moving forward to implement this key 9/11 Commission recommendation—just last week, the Department announced the availability of $48 million to states for the Drivers License Security Grant Program, to help prevent terrorism, reduce fraud, and improve the reliability and accuracy of personal identification documents.” Then in March, Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) added a biometric national ID card requirement to their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill, which is apparently hiding in committee like last summer’s more horrendous bills. But according to Infowars.com and the American Free Press, immigrants won’t have to have this ID because they are already in the country illegally and working under the table, and are not required to have a driver’s license. Only law-abiding American citizens will be forced to have an ID with their fingerprints and later, retinal scan, blood type, and, if Obamacare goes into effect, medical and genetic information embedded in it in order to get a job.
Enhanced Driver's License“Under the U.S. Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), an enhanced driver’s license (EDL)/enhanced identification card (EIC) is an acceptable document to present when entering the United States by land and water.“The EDL/EIC is not a national identity card. An EDL is a secure driver’s license that denotes a person’s identity and citizenship and is issued by certain provinces and U.S. states. The objective is to provide Canadian and American citizens with a convenient option that allows for spontaneous travel across the shared border. The EIC offers the same advantages as an EDL for those holders who do not drive.” (Source: cbsa-asfc.gc.ca ) The following states are issuing this type of WHTI-compliant document: Michigan, New York, Vermont and Washington. The Canadian states of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and British Columbia have also jumped on board. It is interesting to note that three of the four REAL ID compliant state governors have been chosen for Obama’s ten regional Homeland Security Dictators. WorldNetDaily (WND) reprinted a 2009 report from Bob Unruh that said, “Washington state’s enhanced driver’s license privacy advocates are issuing warnings about a new radio chip plan that ultimately could provide electronic identification for every adult in the U.S. and allow agents to compile attendance lists at anti-government rallies simply by walking through the assembly. The proposal, which has earned the support of Janet Napolitano, the newly chosen chief of the Department of Homeland Security, would embed radio chips in driver’s licenses, or ‘enhanced driver’s licenses.’” The REAL ID plan for a standardized federal identification system so alarmed governors that many states have adopted formal plans to oppose it.
However, radio talk show host and RFID chip expert Katherine Albrecht (www.spychips.org) told WND that the
EDLs are many times worse. "Enhanced driver’s licenses have built-in radio chips providing an identifying number or information that can be accessed by a remote reading unit while the license is inside a wallet or purse."
The technology already has been promoted in Washington State as an alternative to a passport for traveling to Canada. So far, the program is optional, she said. But there are other agreements already approved in Michigan, Vermont, New York and Arizona, and plans are under way in other states, including Texas.
Albrecht said a hint of what is on the agenda was provided by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The state’s legislature voted to ban the government from using any RFID chips in any ID documentation. Schwarzenegger vetoed it, claiming he did not want to interfere with any coming or future federal programs for identifying people.
Michigan State Rep. Paul Opsommer said the government appears to be using a national "anti-terrorism" plan requiring people to document their identities as they enter the United States to promote the technology. "We are close to the point now that if you don’t want RFID in any of your documents then you can't leave the country or get back into it," he said. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

Government Agencies Smart Card
.............................................................. Handbook ...................... 2.4.6 OTHER VALUE-ADDED SERVICES In addition to the identification, physical access, and logical access control applications, agencies may use their smart card platforms for a variety of other applications and services including:
Property Management. A chip-based application that provides the capability to enter, update, and delete asset information from the employee’s card. This asset information can then be manually read and verified by a guard when the employee enters or exits a building or read automatically through RF tags in assets when the employee passes through a portal. Exchange of Clearance Information. A chip-based application that allows clearance information to be transported on the smart card between agencies and used to grant the visiting employee access to high-security facilities.
Rostering. A chip-based application that allows data residing on the smart identification card to be retrieved, date or time stamped, and transferred to a database that is then used to generate a variety of specialized reports and to provide positive proof of attendance. Medical. A chip-based application that allows basic medical and insurance data to be stored on the card, read when appropriate by authorized providers, and used to populate claim forms. Training/Certification. A chip-based application that allows training and job-specific certifications to be entered on the card. Electronic Forms Submission. By combining the use of data maintained on the card with the ability to digitally sign an electronic form, this application can populate and submit a wide range of standard administrative forms used by virtually all Federal agencies. Electronic Purse. A chip-based application where cash or value is recorded on a chip and is available for use in vending machines and at participating merchants, typically for small transactions. Through this application, merchants can replace labor-intensive cash transactions (counting, sorting, bundling, and transporting) with electronic transactions vending service providers can eliminate loading and emptying coins from machines, as well as eliminate the incentive for vandalism. Customers are able to reduce the need to carry and make payments with cash, particularly when exact change is required.

The Easy Way to Track Down a Spammer's ISP The fastest way I've found to complain to a spammer's ISP is to use the services of a website called SpamCop.net. To use SpamCop.net you do the following: 1. You register for a free account 2. They send you an address to forward your spam to. 3. You forward any email spam you want to track to the SpamCop address (I suggest you also forward (cc:) the spam to Spam@UCE.GOV so the spam gets included in the law enforcement database). 4. Spamcop processes the spam and notifies you by email. 5. You click on a link in the email that takes you to a web page with the processed spam. 6. You review the web page to see if the spam processed. 7. You hit the send button to mail SpamCop's automated complaints directly to the spammer's ISP, email provider, relay server etc. After you have set up your account the process only takes a couple of minutes per email. The only bad part of this process is that you don't receive confirmation that any action has been taken. However, rest assured that all US ISP's and many foreign ISP's do take action on these notices and will kill the spammer's accounts if they can identify the spammer. Be advised that while SpamCop is free, they do request small donations. I think that SpamCop is a good utility that does a decent job of tracking down a spammer's ISP. It is a tremendous time saver as it can take 30 minutes or more to manually investigate an email header. For those of you that like to track down spammers on their own, study information on decoding eamil headers. ..............

Obama does not need another war theater. Another Democrat, Truman, did not try to be re-elected in 1952 due to what he called a "police action", ending up with over 36,000 dead Americans plus several thousand MIAs. I was so glad to be ordered to W. Germany in Aug. '62 instead of near the Korean DMZ. I heard horror stories of the war, such as some of my Dad's younger friends being recalled to Korea after WWII service and saying that "I never thought I would be warm again..." Many Korean war books--Martin Russ, "The Last Parallel" and James Brady, "The Coldest War"-his account of being a green USMC platoon leader. Check out the Mil. History section of Borders Books.
On 25 June 1950, the United Nations Security Council unanimously condemned the North Korean invasion of the Republic of Korea, with United Nations Security Council Resolution 82.
On 27 June President Truman ordered US air and sea forces to help the South Korean régime.
