   Dell has announced a recall of 4.1 MILLION laptop batteries.  Seems they have an affinity to catching fire in a rather spectacular manner.  Batteries should be removed from your computer until you get a new / free battery from dell, and just work offAC power.   No point in burning down the preps.  I have not been able to find out the battery models affected, but will update when I can find the info.
