I think I'm just venting or having a bit of "prep fatigue" but I'm thinking about just getting the absolute basics to live and then "winging it" with the rest.
Like just buying canned goods a little each week, things I like, and then if it happens just going through an unorganized bunch of cans and saying " Surprise, Guess what we're having for dinner tonight?" I do that most other nights anyway, lol. We always eat just fine. No need to change my bad habits for a pandemic.
So, ahem, any thoughts on "prep fatigue" which is probably what I'm getting at here.

It's a lot like combat fatigue. About 45 days and you need to spend some time on R&R before you go "back to the Front Lines".

kerianne, first I'd like to welcome you to the board and let you know there is much information here to tap into Feel free to ask any questions about something if you aren't able to find it posted in the threads already.Prep fatigue definitely can get you down. It happens to all of us but you just have to take a little break or go do something fun and go on prepping little by little and not take on more than you can comfortably handle. Make a list of things you feel are important to you from the info threads and then just tackle the items one at a time. That's pretty much what we are all doing. Good luck and keep on prepp'n! fritz :>}

Thanks for the welcome fritz! I've been here about a month or two just posting with my name as a Guest. I've read tons and printed out a lot and bookmarked websites that people suggested as well. I know you're right about taking a break as I'm in hurricane country so I should have gotten my act together by now, lol. Actually we've only had the threat of hurricanes for the last couple of years I've lived in Florida but each year I improve soooo flu or no flu I'll still be prepared for any emergency. About the typo, tis okay. How come we can't edit our posts or delete them on this forum? We can at all the others I go to. Just curious. My name isn't really Karianne. I made it up cause I like it too! I had never even heard of that name before I made it up. I've grown so fond of it that I suggested that my son name my new granddaughter Karianne. They decided on Julianna which is nice too. Kari
