I didn't run this by the mods, or really anyone for that matter (my apologies), but I'm trying to find a way of somewhat changing our name to pandemic Talk, but without losing our identity. We will always be AFT and we can't afford to entirely change for search engine purposes and what we're known as, but times have changed over the last decade with many different new viruses emerging with pandemic potential. We need an identity that is more encompassing of the broad number of virus outbreaks and threats. We've seen many new pandemic threats from viruses capable of mutating, such as Ebola, MERS, Zika, plague, or one of the various hemorrhagic viruses.
I thought we would temporarily try to integrate Pandemic Talk as a sub-name for the site, but we can change that back at anytime. Let me know if you have any thoughts about it. It's 100% fine if you hate the idea or if you have any suggestions. Best, Albert |

I get the reasons Boss, but I love AFT because we can be AFTers: AFTer the nuke, AFTer the pandemic, AFTer the collapse etc..
How about AVIAN FLU TALK (incorporating pandemic and other disaster info.) or something similar? I confess, always the technophobe, I don't get the full senario of how these things work, so there will be no offence taken if you tell me this is stupid.

No it's a good point, thanks. We're sticking with AFT. Appreciate the input.

But what about my tattoo? Not to mention my AFT "Members Only" jacket (with epaulettes), bedsheets, key ring, sunglasses, oven gloves, sneakers, coffee mug, urban sombrero, bath towels, BBQ cover, dinner plates with matching coaster set - and the new paint job on the "We're-all-going-to-die-mobile" (I know - the name might change. It's a work in progress. It's not like I'm married to it or anything).
