Passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston on Tuesday around 9 pm. According to the Houston police, the in-flight death was officially announced at the Bush Intercontinental Airport about 11 pm, 2 hours after the death occurred. Apparently, the passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston as he collapsed in the plane's aisle.

The passengers of United Airlines Flight 95 to Houston Tuesday experienced something they have never seen before, and many are thinking the worst. They were travelling from Denver to Houston when something horrible happened - passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston.

According to The Examiner, as the passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston, the occurrence added to growing fears on flying around the world. Many are speculating that the Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa may easily be transmitted to other countries with travelling via plane.

Houston police said that as the man collapsed in the aisle, flight attendants quickly administered CPR to try and revive the passenger.

According to a report by KENS5 on Aug. 5, the unidentified, commercial flight passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston after he collapsed. Despite the CPR, the man wasn't able to make it and he was pronounced dead on the airport.

According to KHOU 11 News, a United Airlines spokeswoman confirmed the medical emergency on-board the plane.

Paramedics were waiting on land for Flight 95 after receiving reports of passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston. The landing two hours later officially confirmed the death announced by the Houston Fire Department.

Meanwhile, authorities raced in to begin their investigation of how the passenger just collapses and passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston.

As of the current moment, the cause of death is still unknown, reports the Daily Mail.

According to KHOU, the Harris County Medical Examiner will be handling the autopsy while ABC13 also reports that Houston homicide detectives will handle the investigation into the cause of death.

The Examiner reports that police are not looking into foul play at the current moment. But investigators will reportedly perform an exhaustive autopsy to find the cause of why passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston. Reports say they are attempting to rule out infection from the deadly Ebola virus.

What added to the Ebola scare among in-flight passengers was the death of a 72-year-old at London Gatwick Airport days ago. Similar to how the passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston, this old woman was with hundreds of passengers - 128 passengers to be exact.

All passengers panicked over another Ebola scare after the old woman died.

According to sources, the old woman traveled from Sierra Leone, and she was showing outward signs of a viral infection - vomiting and sweating - akin to the situation of before passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston.

The old woman reportedly died a short time later, and the good news is, tests for the Ebola strain were negative.

According to the World Health Organization (or WHO), nearly 1,000 people have already been killed from the Ebola strain since it broke out in Africa.

Passenger dies on United Airlines flight to Houston may seem like alarming news, but reports The Examiner said these types of occurrences happen frequently than anyone could imagine. Flight attendants are reportedly specially-trained to perform basic life-support, and their efforts have been successful in most cases.

United and Delta still flying from infected countries. Which means the inside of their airplanes are hot zones as they are not totally decontaminated after each flight.

Welcome to the forum Udahl, and that's very true.   The odds of it not spreading globally, especially considering the incubation time and travel from the infected region,  the odds are fairly remote that it won't, but we never know.   This should also probably take place at anytime and we may be on borrowed time, if you will.

There are a number of deaths during flight that we apparently never hear much about, but considering the sheer volume of people flying at any given time, it isn't that surprising:

I'm still wigged out that Patrick Sawyer, the Ebola patient who died after taking a flight into Nigeria, was so violently symptomatic during the flight!  I sure hope they use a lot of bleach on that plane!

I was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur about 6 years ago and a man died just 2 rows behind me. As it happened they got him going again about 5 minutes later, he'd had a heart attack, was very elderly. There was a doctor sitting directly in front of me and he worked on him with one of those electric shock things. The man was very lucky that there were a number of medical people on board. I overheard the doctor say to his wife when he got back to his seat that the man had actually died.

I guess it happens quite often.

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

KiwiMum I will try tonight to move all of these subject over to Ebolainfo.org so we can do everything there for the general public to see.

I am currently cleaning my garage so I can get more supplies in my shed. I have been lax in my preps and am getting them up to date and full strength.
