I checked my voicemail this morning and found this.

I have absolutely no idea what the guy is talking about, but it's pretty funny.

Once he starts talking about how he didn't steal the photo negatives, it gets awesome fast!

Why do I never get ones like that? That one is pure gold
We used to have a lady leave messages in Spanish on a regular basis that would always have the word "tamale" in it somewhere (hence, "the Tamale Lady called again"), and another elderly lady that would leave ones about stamps (?). I used to work at a place that was one number away from the information line for a nearby railway station. We got enough calls about departure times that I eventually picked up a copy of the timetable. It seemed easier than constantly telling people they'd dialled the wrong number only to have them do it again thirty seconds later.
I recently had a poor guy call my voicemail thinking it was his wife - ex or estranged, I'm guessing - and ramble on about how much he loved me and wanted me back. Then he ended it with a phone number and "this is your husband", which seemed a tad redundant. He sent me a long text a few days later, and at that point I thought I'd better clue him in, and he wrote back and told me to "forget him".
Easy for him to say, but how could I after all we'd been through?
