Meanwhile, the Chilean national geology and mining service has warned that people should prepare for an "even more aggressive eruption."

On may 22 1960 the most severe earthquake ever recorded was a 9.5 in southern Chili, not that far away from the Calbuco volcano (and also related with an active volcano)
