This is not new - but the secret Taepo Dong 3 - which is secret is.
It must be remembered the the full deployment of this system will not be until 2020 - four years from now.
While they are talking about the Taepo Dong 2 from North Korea - there
is quite possibly a TD 3. Now it is very possible that even the TD 2 can
reach many targets in the U.S. A new version of this using a 4-stage
missile which neither the U.S., China, or Russia have announced or even
acknowledged could have an even greater range. An improved version of the Taepo Dong
2 would likely have a length of 34.0 m, a diameter of 2.4/1.4/0.9 m
(for each stage), a launch weight of 68,800 kg, and a range of
approximately 8,000 km. The Taepo Dong 3 was reported as having three or
possibly four stages based on other missiles in the North Korean
arsenal. The first stage is similar to the Musudan (BM-25), the second
is similar to the No Dong 1, and the third stage is similar to the
Hwasong 6 (‘Scud’ C) variant. 2 http://missilethreat.com/missiles/taepo-dong-3/ - http://missilethreat.com/missiles/taepo-dong-3/
It is likely as I just posted that a Taepodong 3 exists and has not
been tested. While many of the missiles discussed have 3 stages -
clearly some highly efficient and long range ones have 4. http://www.strategic-air-command.com/missiles/Peacekeeper/Peacekeeper_Missile_Home_Page.htm - http://www.strategic-air-command.com/…/Peacekeeper_Missile_…
This is not new technology. While the impressive range and highly
promoted battle in high atmosphere is all over the media, the simple
fact a sub just off the coast beyond the 12-mile limit - launching - as
North Korea did a few days ago from a
submarine, a nuclear missile would be very difficult to intercept. The
Hollywood Dr. Strangeglove event or War Games with missiles incoming for
40 minutes would be reduced to 3-5 minutes. This is the real news and
the real threat despite all the mainstream outcry and deployment of
THAAD. Can Patriots take out a low flying low trajectory missiled
launched 15 miles from the target? They weren't that great in the Gulf
Wars and Scuds did get through. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/war_stories/2003/03/patriot_games.html - http://www.slate.com/…/war_stori…/2003/03/patriot_games.html
So much like the current mainstream media which is inherently flawed
and in the U.S. conveniently filters out a lot of events and facts which
are still available in GIM (Global Indepented Media) i.e. CWN - the
reports on how effective missiles are at not just intercepting but
destroying enemy missiles are not accurate. We live under the
illusion of protection in a world of terrorists with suitcase nukes,
cells that camp for years before attacking, and a border that is beyond
porous with Isis crossing into the U.S. and operational mingled with
others. Welcome to summer 2016. Medclinician
