Pandemics have "ingediënts";
-an illness (virus, bacteria, fungae, prion, etc.)
-a "vector"-means of transport
-a"feeding ground" (if there is nobody to get ill you will not get a pandemic-Antarctica was not toutched by the Spanish Flu at the end of World War I).

The Zero Hedge article comes with mega-cities in Africa with over 60 million inhabitants by 2100. Urbanization makes a great feeding ground for pandemics.

Of course wars, disasters, climate change, gets millions of people becoming vulnareble refugees. Cholera killed almost 10.000 people in Haïti after the 2010 earthquake https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Haiti_cholera_outbreak" rel="nofollow - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Haiti_cholera_outbreak . At present Yemen https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%80%9317_Yemen_cholera_outbreak" rel="nofollow - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E2%80%9317_Yemen_cholera_outbreak has the largest cholera outbreak. Polio mixes with war http://outbreaknewstoday.com/polio-update-5-total-cases-2017-suspected-vdpv-case-syria-25538/" rel="nofollow - http://outbreaknewstoday.com/polio-update-5-total-cases-2017-suspected-vdpv-case-syria-25538/ in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria.

https://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/programs/geh/climatechange/health_impacts/index.cfm" rel="nofollow - https://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/programs/geh/climatechange/health_impacts/index.cfm The zika-virus did get out of control due to climate change. But also droughts, extreme heatwaves, weather events-is creating instability, food and water crises and at the end loss of habitat-humans can not live there (on that scale) any longer. Desertification is a big risk for northern Africa and the Middle East-it is also one of many reasons for the wars in those regions.

Pandemics need a certain background and do not come out of the blue. Good healthcare is healthcare for all humans-virusses do not read bankaccounts ! The idea that we can build on all land on this planet without effecting climate is insane.
