What's everyone working on this month? Our tomato and pepper plants are doing well, it's getting really hot out, I guess they needed the hot weather! The plums are totally gone, animals of some sort must have got them all. Peaches, there are only a few left, some type of animals getting those too. Just trying to sort through and organize what I have for this month.

I have my house in order now I need to get my basement in order...the thing I hate to do the most...the basement! Summer is going fast before I know it I will be back at work!

I am trying to decide what to do with my garden. It is covered in black plastic right now to get rid of all the weeds. I have to figure out what I will use since I am basically alone now. As I get older and have no one to feed except myself not sure what to do. Any suggestions. My garden is 85ft long but only 3 ft. wide. It goes along the back of my yard.

Happy 4th!

Flu Mom, are there perennials (plants that will come up year after year) that you could use, like berry bushes, that will not need a lot of hard work once they are planted (a consideration as we all ageUnhappy).
