This morning I read the same stories on CNN they have been posting for 4 days. I posted about North Korean launch last Friday - it is now Tuesday and they are still posting what I posted days ago. What's up with this?  Is someone on vacation?

"We are going to handle this - don't worry it will be handled" - President Trump.

It is not being handled and we are getting the same tired rhetoric we have been hearing all week. Currently South Korea is not even going to defend itself as they take out 20 million people in Seoul. Ramping  up the military exercises and test firing THAAD
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal_High_Altitude_Area_Defense" rel="nofollow - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal_High_Altitude_Area_Defense
is not going to do anything to stop an attack.

The Democrats with their wide-eyed bill to sanction Russia (slap on the wrist) for their interference in the election is dumb. Still there is no definitive proof they did and still it is their nature like the scorpion to sting to meddle in the internet. We are just as guilty, if not more so of tampering with the net and elections all over the world.

The die hard liberals and turncoat Republicans who are not really Republicans but just ran as them to get elected are not going to call off the witch hunt. Anything to create a scandal on anything Republican just to get back control of the legislatures which they have lost will drag on for years.

Unless we have have some kind of Mortal Combat team headed to do a regime change in North Korea, we near the day they will launch and blow up Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and maybe even New York. No one wants to say the words New York - but they are in range now - as is Washington D.C.. No one wants to talk about an EMP over the government heartland on the East Coast which will fry most electronics, shut down the power grid, and then terrorists will strike people who will be thrown in chaos. I do not want to stand on the ruins of New York wear a gas mask, carry an uzi or some weapon as they tried to take them all away,  fleeing the radiation after I just moved there to try and save our power grid and say "I told you so". But I did. I have for years. Not if, but when.

Meanwhile, and despite sanctions, North Korea is on a high of success and building the tallest structure in the world and spitting in the eye of the Western World.

I was laughing over the shock and awe of Scaramucci saying naughty words when the democrats have been ranting with f*ck this and that for months and comedians waving Donald Trump's head in the air for children to see. Grow up CNN - get a life.  America is not in love with anarchists and bad boys - it is just cheaper to make the movies about them. And that is what the media is becoming - cheap yellow journalism - put out the red light - selling their souls and integrity to anyone with the money.

It isn't Trump's fault the world is a mess. He inherited a mess and the swamp. I cannot believe some reporters and people get up there and say
"Well Mr. Trump is just going to learn how things are done in D.C."

No he doesn't . It is time to drain the place and stop all the crime, drugs, and corruption on the highest levels of our government.  It is time to cut the congress medical exemptions so they will have to endure a failed medical system the ObamaCare joke which is about to implode.

A relative of mine just lost his health care and he was paying $10 co-pay for a medicine needed after a heart operation to keep him alive. Now they want $437 dollars for the same medicine. That is just one.  The insurance industry which is basically an area monopoly does not want statewide competition and... - the doctors - who frequently bill patients 3x for the same service and -... the drug lords of American - who give a legion of medicine much of which does not even work and much of which is hardly safe all too often with 10x the side effects as benefits  - have united to form one of the most powerful cartels,  legions of not super-heroes in history.

It is a comedy beyond comedy and tragedy beyond tragedy.   This is the real news. Huge areas like cancer which there are cures that have been suppressed for decades and organizations which would collapse if they cured cancer.  People that are being dialyzed  to death when the real problem of overweight and meat filled with growth hormone making 1/3 of our people so big it is killing them and creating the diabetes and kidney failure in the first place.

We have institutions that are beyond regulation or any meaningful review.  The worst is Congress and no one is monitoring the lobbyists bribing, wining and dining them, so they will pass laws help the corporations and special interest groups and hurt America.

The Real News. It is time for a change in all these areas. The hidden Euthanasia parts of the Obamacare allowing assisted suicide are simply to save money. It is about curing anyone - many times - it is about keeping them sick.

And finally - socialism is not the answer.  A weekend at Bernie's (Sanders) is a move to make our country a losing socialist nation and ratchet our democracy down to a third world nightmare.

So I scribble notes for Pandemic Now, my book, as the watchtowers monitoring disease are deserted. Of course the viruses are not over, as death is not on holiday. There still is Ebola in Africa, bad Zika in Texas, and a perpetual flu and Norovirus that will not quit.

The supermarket is full of food that is outdated, sour milk, and things that are just not talked about which are killing a lot of people.

The American people are being systematically lied to by the media and have been for the last few years especially. Many of the news stories are pure fantasy and the most significant events of the Trump administration are mostly ignored.

Our stock market is doing the best it has ever done and at an all time high. We probably have more respect from the world despite Trumpophobia (my word in case someone uses it) and the witch hunt continues. Can Trump float on water as they tie him to the dunking chair to drown him and if he does drown, will he then not be a witch and innocent. Catch22 - as CNN retract and look not sorry - "Guess we just published a bunch of blatant lies.  Such is the logic of people who rant about different types of phobes as they inoculate the world with misinformation and lies about Trump.

It does look like I will need to start a network and am doing so for the real news - independent news - what people need to know to survive a montage of commercial laden garbage as they monitor your every keystroke as you watch it and save and control your computer to gather data and then sell it to the highest bidders.

Reality. Real News. What you deserve. It's coming. Be sure of it - from millions of reporters with their hand held smart phones bringing you - the truth.

comment: We have little idea of what the American people think because the media and their surveys are flawed. Let me ask you - were you ever in the military? Did you go to basic training?  And most of all - did you love your drill sergeant?

It isn't necessary to love the president and whoever got this idea is basically wrong. It isn't necessary to love your doctor when he cuts you open and cuts up your heart and saves your live and after you are in agony. I know this. I have lived it as well as basic which was hell.

In the end I was a better man - and I mean man versus boy or seeing as female go from girls to women as well. I was a lean mean fighting machine not someone slinking over the Canadian border running.

In the weight room, lifting weights, building up, no pain, no gain. This is the essence of a strong leadership. No one wants their benefits cut as they try and lance the boil of the American feather in the air stock market and goldless money system.

This constant targeting of individuals whoever they be is not good for America. And there is no billionaire alive that has the awareness to know every deal with every entity that ever occurred over 30 years. Few people in politics - I would doubt any - could stand the scrutiny and attacks Trump has. They are not necessary. The Democrats lost the election, they have lost congress and all they have given us after 8 years of putting up with them is a bad medical system, a bad economy, a destroyed world image and foreign policy insanity. It is a total joke and deserves the best of Saturday night live to do a nearly brain dead social justice warrior.

People follow without a clue the headlines. No one colluded with Russia. Get a grip. In Air America we were financing revolutions selling cocaine to buy weapons. This is no secret. It is a reality. American intelligence has had their fingers in just about ever government with spies moles on earth - down to the villages in Africa.

That is what they do. The are spies. We have them. They have them. You don't punish them. They are there to defend your country from invasion and warn those who need to know.

We have mayors and senators and congressman on drugs, on the take, bought and sold by corporations and T.V. evangelists sleeping with hookers on money that little old ladies give believing they are helping. Life can suck. People can suck. Government can suck. That is the real world.

Nothing is worse than a whiner who continues to try and influence the world by seeking pity and and saying freedom of speech insures their right to whine. We don't need it.

We need strong people who are not trying to be popular to rule our nation and get the job done. We need financial wizards to cut the fat in social programs and wastes where billions, and I have seen billions, are stolen from American taxpayers.

We are not in the 60s. Come to present time. This is not JFK - no one wants a strong president in power while many people are feeding off the system and milking it dry.

We have 70% fewer illegals cross the border. Do you read about that on CNN?  Our stock market is booming - again - is this a headline on CNN?  The jobless rate is dropping and people are going back to work. We are trying to rebuild America and bring industry and manufacturing from offshore to homeland. See that in the media?  Not really.

They are too busy playing Jerry Springer Drama with people mud wrestling on the floor of the Senate. Entertainment does not equal the real news. It is National Enquirer.

Personally I don't care what secret meeting the next target of the lost Democrats are whining about. I care whether Kim Jong-un launches a nuclear missile on San Francisco - 80 miles from me and I die from radiation in a few days. I care about my fellow veterans, many of whom fought and many of whom died defending their country who have been left to die in the streets without food or care.

The Real News - we are not getting it. It isn't about the new scandal. Russia is not nice. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure that out. Putin was the head of the KGB - can he be trusted? No. Will he continue to order them to spy on America? Is Homeland Security about to be disbanded any time soon?

Not likely.

Our government needs to get to work and Congress needs to do its job and pass laws on issues that are important to our economy, health, and national security. They are blowing it.

We don't have to love our president. We don't have to love police officers though I do respect them for protecting us from the worst of the worst. We don't have to love the fireman, the postman, and the huge army of people that serve our country and should be honored for what they do - but I sure do respect them a hell of a lot and am glad for each an every one of them.

We need to pick our battles and targets to those that are important to the survival and prosperity of our nation. Call off the legion of Harpies crawling all over President Donald Trump and let him do his job. Maybe the country doesn't love him - but he is in my eyes - doing the best he can to fulfill what he has promised the American people - and doing his job.

Medclinician

and despite it not being cool to say

God Bless America.

how about "call off the legion of Harpies crawling all over President OBAMA and let him do his job"

hmmm
NEVER heard that did we

people will stop crawling all over Trump
when and IF he stops LYING

Trump does what he does and says what he says
HE SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

YOU have no problem holding Obama or Clinton accountable
yet
Trump gets a pass from you ???

this is why Trump supporters have NO credibility
NONE at all

double standard much ???

and about this little line
"We have little idea of what the American people think because the media and their surveys are flawed."

even the one poll that CONSISTENTLY, showed Trump in a favorable light
is now going against him
face FACTS
the American public is NOT behind Trump

Lazy sods aren't they, Med!  But, don't confuse that with "fake news".

It would be nice if we were told a bit more about the goings on in the world.  That seems to be a regular problem, with insufficient news being the rub, not simply made up.  It is a great propaganda tool for the media to twist things by only reporting the part they want you to see; the oversight agencies and quangos can't accuse you of lying if you say nothing.  If they only show one side then we only see one side, ................................................................ unless we research for ourselves and see what the other side is saying.  Russia Today, Al Jazeera, CGTN and  Euronews are a nice antidote for our own BBC or the American channels.

FOX is a great antidote to CNN: CNN is a great antidote to FOX.  Between them they are a great antidote to the above - Lazy sods aren't they, Med!  But, don't continue confusing that with "fake news".

As to the internet?  Well that has no oversight, so you really need to check with the antidote list before quoting most of it; that goes even more for twitter!  It does often mention that which the mainstream fail to tell us, but that only tells us where to look, you still need something verified before you can believe it.

It is like looking things up on Wikipedia.  This is a great way to get the basics of information on something to start off your research, but it can be updated by anyone, and some ass***** like to put false stuff on it for the craick.  So once you; have the basics go and check the source material yourself, or run the risk of being called a fool or worse a liar.

Satori, it is true that Trump's approval rating has taken a big hit (CNN?) but it is not exactly in the toilet, as he has a hardcore of supporters who would still follow him if he grew a tail, leathery wings and horns (FOX?).

Put the various news sources together and:

Yes, he inherited a swamp, but the pipes he sank into it are pumping in not out.
Yes, the stockmarket is up, but the dollar is in freefall.
Yes, socialism is not the answer, but the CURRENT Republican way will probably make things far worse, at least for the little guy.

I am sorry to tell you this Med, but if you start a news channel of your own, it needs to be far less partisan.  The public needs more truth worship, not more Trump worship.  Lazy sods aren't they, Med!  But, don't continue that with your own "fake news".

Talk about not getting all the news, Med;  I have just found out that the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight have secretly built two nuclear aircraft carriers each and have supplied them with F15s secretly acquired from America.  They also have a small joint fleet of nuclear submarines.

We know this is correct because it was reported in DD and MM news.  I have heard the two reporters once worked for Disneyland.  I don't know if that is correct, though.

One again I am seeing what I posted the day before going up on Fox. Which is fine. I am a crusader for The Real News versus The Fake News - and I respect Fox for smelling the coffee about Trump and breaking away some from the CNN - New York Times - Washington Post insanity.  Trump is doing his job. He has made huge gains in many areas  for America and I wish the Democrats would lose the word collusion which they have beaten to death and sounds like some sort of constipation problem.

It is a real challenge to fixed up a messed up America after 8 years of bad foreign policy, out and out lying to the people on multiple topics, and deserting Americans to pander to special interest groups, minorities, and alternate life styles.

We need to reach to point where employers, colleges, people in general don't care what religion you are, what color, or what gender. It just doesn't matter.

There are so many special groups with special needs, our citizens, all citizens do not receive equal and fair opportunity in jobs, education, or life anymore.

It  is time for them to stop creating roles, mental conditions, special this and that, where a person can belong to a group, and suddenly receive better treatment and more attention.

Our  government should be fair to the silent majority - they should  get equal treatment and have equal rights.

If people don't want to be Christian, or any religion - fine. But people who are religious should be  able to openly display what they believe in without fear of persecution.

So, 50% of America voted for Trump. CNN comes out with another of its "surveys" or quotes one. They tried to convince everyone that Trump had no chance of election and it would be a landslide for Hillary Clinton.

They lied.

People often say - be positive - it is time to support what is good for our nation - and recognize things are getting done.

One considers going into stand up comedy as I read some of the headlines on Fox - CNN - New York Times and Washington - the un-Fantastic Four.   Beside most of the headlines being rewarmed ones from Friday - guess someone is on break - we have a classic misinformation story.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo on Sunday was interviewed and the near last part of his statement was "there is no imminent threat of North Korea attacking the U.S. or its allies".  Glossed over was the fact that the CIA was backing President Trump recent hardline and he actively has the support of U.S. intelligence. Shouldn't he?

This was a "calm the world" bit of info basically saying that the CIA knew Kim Jong-un had no plans to make good on his August 15th headline to launch on Guam.

At the same time the far Right tried to have press conference and were literally shut down by the far left. So much for the 1st Amendment - Free Speech.

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So, it would seem there was no mention of white policeman murdered in cold blood from a state that was not even involved with the death of a black man.  Nor was there mention of radical groups who are as black supremacist as the white ones are.

It was inevitable our Nazis in the wings would come out eventually.

Yet gone is the talk of Donald Trump being backed by the Klu Klux Klan. He condemned the violence of the White Supremacists.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_supremacy" rel="nofollow - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_supremacy

Basically all this does is to create division in our government. A lot of it is supported and financed by our enemies. We are so locked in on proving the Russians are tampering with us, that the influx of other foreign national who finance many of these demonstrations is ignored.

I wrote a thread on this - The Children of Anarchy - and all this does is divide America and make us more vulnerable.

What happened to the witch trials?  What happened to the Hillary did a crime and should go to jail revelations?  Looks like they will never be finished.

What is missed is that there are huge numbers of people that are tired of being abused by any group. We need to unite - not only to focus on our fighting brothers and sisters who have to protect our nation and our military - but from division started by our enemies to weaken our nation.

It has been going on for decades.

I am changing the name for me of what my Dad used to call the comics on Sunday morning -
The Funny Papers.

He condemned both sides.

True, you can't have an argument alone - it takes at least two - but, the "left" protested and the "hard right" killed and maimed.  Not what I would call a balanced argument.

He is happy to condemn all Muslims and Mexicans even the innocent, to generalize.  But, sadly, he seems unable to condemn the guilty without insullting the victims.

Of course the KKK love him.  It appears you are automatically guilty if your skin is anything other than 100% white.

Obama did not do his job, lied to the American people over and over and never accomplished anything during his presidency that was helpful in any way.  Despite multiple gain in the U.S. economy, the stock market, the job market, and less illegal immigration by 70%, the liberal media continues to churn out pure fantasy in many areas versus accurate credit to Trump for what he has done.

My next post is an example.

Once again the whiners have taken the stage and are saying Trump should have said more about the attacks by White Supremacists. What did he say?

President Trump specifically condemns “white supremacists” and other extremist groups as forces behind the deadly protests and counter-protests this weekend in Virginia, a White House spokesperson said Sunday.

"The president said very strongly in his statement yesterday that he condemns all forms of violence, bigotry and hatred. Of course that includes white supremacists, KKK Neo-Nazi and all extremist groups. He called for national unity and bringing all Americans together,” the spokesperson said from Trump’s private golf club in Bedminster, N.J.

In the spirit of social justice warriors Fox and CNN continue to print that Trump does not condemn them because they have been trying to say they supported him during the election inferring Trump is a racist.

This is the resounding cry of the left - in the job market when people are not hired and to force everything from Hollywood to all business to be subject to a quota system if they do not have some many minorities, especially black people. This is the same with females.

No school should be forced to admit a certain percentage of minority people while discriminating against white people and making race part of the determination for scholarships or education.

All forms of violence against the government should be condemned. Protesting is far different now than it was in the 60s. I never protested anything and was never arrested for it, but I saw people beaten on the steps at Berkeley by the police during a demonstration who did nothing to deserve it.

It seems okay for the far left to hurl four letter explicits and hold up the head of a decapitated president, but people for Trump are hunted and swarmed and cannot have press conferences or free speech.

The media is totally biased. After 9 months of an agenda that Russia, working with Trump, changed the election, they still have not proved it was true.

The media has also taken one line from the CIA directors statement "there is no eminent threat of nuclear attack" from North Korea and gone on about it for three days while ignoring completely their support for Trump and his recent "get touch with North Korea" statements.

An acting effective commander-in-chief versus Obama and his disastrous foreign policy which put us in the position we are today, is the worst nightmare of the Democrats. Now they are saying his reckless behavior to protect America is to advance his popularity.

This is a myth.

Some people are just fed up with an administration who was more pro-Muslim and weak on Syria and Iran and actually paying terrorists with tax payer's money.

That is what happened in the parting days of Obama. Millions were given to Iran which were used finance terrorists and developing nuclear missiles.

It is not going to change. The Democrats are effectively out of power in all branches of government. People were hired to gather information to destroy Trump and the entire investigation on of him is a witch hunt.

Trump never claimed to be a war hero as some senators did who blatantly lied about their combat heroism.

I am not aware that Trump's father was a cross-dresser and this is typical stuff ignoring the facts.
But after he (Trump) graduated from college in the spring of 1968, making him eligible to be drafted and sent to Vietnam, he received a diagnosis that would change his path: bone spurs in his heels.

The diagnosis resulted in a coveted 1-Y medical deferment that fall, exempting him from military service as the United States was undertaking huge troop deployments to Southeast Asia, inducting about 300,000 men into the military that year.

The basic requirement for military service is to make people ready for combat. I know. I am a Vietnam vet, served my country and am proud of it and support other veterans and the homeless.

As for equality for women -

All male American citizens are legally required to register for Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. When women can be drafted - there will be a breaking of the "glass foundation" which there has never been a single protest against.

I was not drafted. I volunteered and joined the medical core working in the 101st infantry. How many of the avid anti-Trump posters here have ever served in the military and helped protect America?

Many of them are not even American. And the reason the world lost a lot of respect for America was not caused by Trump. If, in general, our enemies probably have more to fear and deal with than they have in years.

What has been ignored here?   Trump is building a better and stronger military - trying to catch up on the nukes - and not only supporting veterans in many ways, but law enforcement as well. In the wake of a growing movement to equate police officers with Nazis and them being hunted, he has showed support for those who try to protect America and risk their lives daily doing it.

I have worked hard much of my life in the field of medicine taking care of people. The current health care system is a disaster which is about to implode. Trump tried to get support to fix it and the Democrats, still holding on the sinking ship of Obamacare for politics, has lead us to the brink of disaster. Also, we are on the verge of a government shutdown in a few weeks if a bill is not passed to increase the debt ceiling.

There is almost no news about this. It is a bad situation.

I am tired of politics and whiners. They lost the election and still they won't quit.  They had eight years and America would probably be in a depression right now instead of record breaking stock highs, 4.3% unemployment and growing confidence to bring back jobs into our country. It was Trump who had respect for those in the rust belt and wanted to save the dying automotive industry that sacked Detroit and left it looking like the aftermath of a nuclear war.

"someone who ran and hid under daddies skirt" Carbon 20

We had a candidate, Hillary Clinton, that was more concerned about having bathrooms for daddies that had a sex change and wanted to use them in Christian churches with the women or gays that were refused being made a wedding cake by a Christian bakery, than the threat of nuclear war, a collapsing economy, or border crossings that were destroying our job market, so farmers could hire illegals and congress people could have immigrant housekeepers who were basically slaves.

Like Trump's tweets - that is simple language everyone can understand. It is not racist. It is not advocating violence in any form.

It is - The Real News.

My next post is an example.

dude
thanks for the laugh and the MISINFORMATION
you seem to excel at this

when Obama took office, the economy was CRASHING
we were losing hundreds of thousands of jobs EVERY MONTH
the stock market was at about 8,000 or so
when Obama left
we were at full employment
the stock market was at about 20,000
and NO ONE can lie to the public as good as Trump has done

YOU are the one "churning out pure fantasy"
and seem to live in some parallel universe or bizarro world

and like it or not
part of the reason Trump ,the popular vote LOSER' is in office
is because of the white supremacists, the nationalists, the KKK types and the alt-right
they LOVE him
just check out their websites
its all right there plain as a day
no  wonder he doesnt strongly disavow them
they are part of his base of supporters !!!

It is just words, but when someone is murdered and or maimed, then good people condemn it.

Trump failed.

You do not blame the wounded or killed - ever!!!  Even if they had behaved abominably (which I do not believe was the case) they are now suffering and their families are grieving.

Absolutely no person with any conscience at all adds to that.

Despite my dislike, Trump is not all bad.  But, this time his behavior is shameful.

He has been making America a laughing stock around the world.  This is worse.

Now he has shamed his office, shamed his country and, by extension, shamed you.

Not misinformation. Reality. This is a far more accurate picture than is being carried on most of the media. The Real News.  There are radical violent groups on a hunt on the far left, which far outnumber this nasty white supremacist incident. We need to unify America during a time of crisis.

What was actually said by President Trump in regards to the Charlottesville, Virginia violence. Would also like to comment we have a new VA Clinic in my area, a new cemetery for Veteran's that we wrote to a congressman and got so our soldiers could have a place to be buried in Monterey and VA care has improved immensely. I now spend less than 15 minutes waiting for my appointment when it used to be 2-3 hours.

Without military, police, and people to fight the wars and protect our country, we would have no country.

True.

But, without the far right Heather Hale would have her life.

Trump needs to condemn them directly, not vaguely - lumped in with everyone else - even the victims.  I thought him a disingenuous, power hungry creep before.  Now I also see him as a racist, a bigot and possibly a coward too.

I would call him a POS, but manure is valuable to us farmers.

Barrack Obama refused to use the words "Radical Islamic Terrorism" after the San Bernardino terrorist attack.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/dec/11/war-words-fight-over-radical-islamic-terrorism/" rel="nofollow -
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/dec/11/war-words-fight-over-radical-islamic-terrorism/

When President Barack Obama spoke to the nation on Dec. 6 about the San Bernardino attacks from the Oval Office, he didn’t even use the words Islamic State.

Instead, he referred to the group as ISIL, an acronym for Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, a word denoting a region of the Middle East that covers several countries, including Syria.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is among several candidates who say Obama’s verbal preferences speak volumes about his inability to lead the fight.

"The broader solution is a commander-in-chief willing to speak the truth, willing to name the enemy — radical Islamic terrorism — and willing to do whatever it takes to defeat radical Islamic terrorism," Cruz said in a Washington news conference Tuesday. "When you have President Obama telling the nation that the Islamic State isn’t Islamic, that’s just nutty."

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-avoids-calling-terrorism-islamic/" rel="nofollow - http://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-avoids-calling-terrorism-islamic/

At a White House conference on violent extremism, Mr. Obama appeared to take pains to separate Islam from terrorism.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/obama-dont-grant-terrorists-legitimacy-by-labeling-them-islamic/" rel="nofollow - Critics fault the president for not labeling the terror Islamic, and at a private Republican gathering in New York Wednesday night, former mayor Rudy Giuliani went even further.

"I do not believe that the president loves America. What's wrong with this man," asked Giuliani, "that he can't stand up and say there's a part of Islam that's sick?"

comment: There is a real flaw in logic here. Just because a group likes Trump doesn't mean he is linked to them or is one of them.  Just because someone wants equality for all people, doesn't mean he is a racist.

Obama stuttered and made more mistakes in his speeches to the point where some think he had brain damage from his early cocaine use. Either his memory was flawed or he was terribly dishonest.

How does Trump feel about the KKK and White Supremacy groups?

This last statement is better.  It should have been sooner.  The damage was already done.  But, better late than never.

Obama led the administration that removed Osama Bin Laden, but he could have spoken more clearly too.

So no one is wreathed in glory.  Two wrongs do not make a right.

After facing bipartisan criticism for his initial statement over the weekend, Trump was direct in his condemnation Monday.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America,” Trump said.

He added, “Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

Well, it appears that Herr Tumpenfuhrer has repeated/reiterated his first statement.  He has had time to think about it and, it appears, that his concern for voter numbers in the far right outweighs his care for the dead and injured or their families.

I have no doubt that the left-wing protesters failed to behave in a peaceful fashion.  Angry people often do.  They seem to have had good reason to be angry.  That does not mean that they started it and they clearly caused less death and injury.

Herr Trumpenfuhrer says that he has watched all the footage and there were "bad" behaviors on both sides.  I have no way of telling if that is true.  I was not there.  I have watched all the footage I can find both on TV and online.  I could not make out who started anything.  On balance of probability, I find it hard to believe there was a significant amount of bad left wing behavior, as there seem to be no reported injuries on the far right.

So, if they started it, show us the footage.  If there is footage only Herr Fuhrer has seen, he can show it to us.  If not, then he is proven to be a liar as well as a racist.

The far left violence and the media's obsession with pandering to them is not working. Trump is not a racist, he does not support the Klu Klux Klan nor the white supremacist and is not secretly connected or supporting them behind the scenes. The press, for the most part , is delusional. I think this was well phrased in an article I just read by Herman Cain on Fox -
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/08/16/herman-cain-trumps-critics-cant-make-racism-claim-stick.html" rel="nofollow -
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/08/16/herman-cain-trumps-critics-cant-make-racism-claim-stick.html

Critics and the liberal media can’t make a claim of racism stick against President Trump, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said Wednesday on “ http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/hannity/index.html" rel="nofollow - Hannity .”

Speaking amid the controversy surrounding http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/08/15/trump-decries-alt-left-in-charlottesville-do-have-any-semblance-guilt.html" rel="nofollow - Trump's comments  about the racially-charged violence in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend, Cain said attempts from the president's opponents to change the narrative have failed.

“They couldn’t make ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,’ stick. They couldn’t make ‘refugees, refugees, refugees,’ stick. So, now the desperate attempt is ‘racism, racism, racism,’” Cain said.

“But here’s what they don’t understand: the American people are not stupid. Those people that are supporting Donald Trump because of the results he is getting and he is trying to get are not going to persuade Trump supporters to move over to the dark side. They have not just crossed the line, they’ve gone over the cliff. And the only people that are going over the cliff with them are those people that are just as deceived and deranged as they are. That’s what this is all about,” Cain said. “It’s their desperate attempt to try and get people to follow them off the cliff.”

comment: I find reading most of the headlines about Trump painful. And I would repeat...

“They couldn’t make ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,’ stick. They couldn’t make ‘refugees, refugees, refugees,’ stick. So, now the desperate attempt is ‘racism, racism, racism,’” Cain said.

The effort to get him impeached for some delusional idea he was in some sinister plot with Russia while Hillary Clinton was in many sinister plots and providing pay for play for our enemies and is still under investigation.

The press cannot resist having people cyber rolling on the floor beating the crap of each other verbally in a parody of the Jerry Springer show. One of the key lines of the people who refuse to accept Trump is "don't confuse me with the facts".

And a new attitude about equality for all versus an obsession with civil rights is that this not a crisis - it is evolution. A time when we can rise about division and making race, gender, and religion so important and forcing it down the throats of everyone while crying out racism and hatred - when actually we need to unite. There are "bad boys and girls" on both sides of the fence with their pepper spray, helmets, and clubs bashing out windows and toppling statues.

We have truly dangerous gangs which are formed largely from immigrants, criminals which have been deported multiple times and come and hide in sanctuary cities, and minority organizations that truly hate white people and are as racist as any white group has ever been.

We were debating all this and it comes down to free speech. No one has the right to discriminate and yet people don't have to like anyone. They have the choice to not like any race, religion, or gender as long as they are peaceful. That is called free speech. People have the right to assemble and express their views. They have a right to protest without being attacked by others who feel they do not have to tolerate those whose views they find disgusting.

The colleges do not have the right to ban conservative speakers because "they don't want to protect them" versus liberals who feed upon the system.

I saw recently a statement "jobs don't help the problem of discrimination".

The reality is - the nation is prospering, the jobless rate is down, the border is more secure and we have just survived a standoff and a possible nuclear war because Trump did not wuss out in dealing with Kim Jong -un as the whole world watched.

The media can continue to ignore this and parade liberals and republicans who object to Trump saying both sides were wrong after being on the brink of nuclear war.

Give the man credit. The media cannot make it through a day without a slamming headline on Trump. It has become the heroin of the Social Justice Warriors getting their daily fix from CNN, Washington Post, and the New York Times. Get a life people. He won.  There won't be an impeachment, killing policeman and neglecting the military will not secure our nation or protect us all.

We have a whining press.  It is like the continual nasal chant of someone out of touch with reality saying "I don't like it".

The real issues are not whether transgenders have bathrooms or gays can buy wedding cakes from Christian bakeries. They are whether we have a strong, no-nonsense leader who realizes the world is a business. It really is people. It is largely about money, and 99% of what is done is done to make it. We had morals once, deeper values, and families with a father, a mother, and children.

We need that back. Not figuring how to take care of the fatherless families which is crushing our economy and mommy out working not able to raise her children. This doesn't work. It hasn't for 10,000 years and it won't now. We need to get back.

Perhaps a new generation will someday revolt. You will see super-religious people, a return to love and the daddy and mommy - and an end to obsession with trying to get votes by pretending to love the abused, the disabled, and whatever color you choose or gender, to get elected. Behind the scenes Hillary never loved the black people or Americans. There are videos showing the two-faced attitudes and statements of how and why she lied to the public.

You know - people who work don't have of time to protest. People who dedicate their lives to others and try to better our society as a whole, not just their race or group, have happy, fulfilled lives, money to spend and a place to live.

America has been shamed for 8 years. The foreign policy was bad, the health care a disaster, and the ray of hope and belief we would ever pull out of it, all words and no action.

In a short time after Trump was in office, we attacked Syria when a government backed by the Russian was using nerve gas on children.  They are making strides to take out ISIS (not ISIL) and our military is the strongest it has been in decades.

The Real News - we are doing better. You would never know that by the press who I think is mostly on crack and spaced out pushing for our 13 years old to use marijuana. They cannot fathom a president who believes in God versus trying to put up Satan statues in Oklahoma, or freedom for men to marry men.

2017 - I never with all my predictions imagined it would be like this and I pray to God it will get better.

Your first words, Med, were: "The far left violence...."  Just whom ended up dead, maimed or injured in Charlottsville?

I never did think Americans stupid.  Trump makes me want to rethink that.  Aside from the fact that his administration is so self conflicted he has only managed a few very minor changes, Germany have already shown the fallacy of the Trump-style leadership.  Repeating their mistakes is doubly stupid.

You said:  "And a new attitude about equality for all versus an obsession with civil rights is that this not a crisis - it is evolution. "  Well evolution was the big cry of the Nazis in pre-war Germany.  It led to eugenics, in a manner which gave eugenics a bad name!  As for unity, that is a president's first job yet Herr Trumpenfuhrer has sown discord even within his own party.

You said: "We have truly dangerous gangs which are formed largely from immigrants, criminals which have been deported multiple times and come and hide in sanctuary cities, and minority organizations that truly hate white people and are as racist as any white group has ever been."  Can you not hear yourself?  Yes there are.  But there are non immigrant, white gangs just as bad, sometimes worse, and often with less provocation.  YOU are being racist to single out only one group.  Crime is crime, irrespective of color, creed or any other distinction.  Show me the proof that the left started any violence at Charlottsville, if you can.  I can show you proof that they were the only side to lose anyone to violence.  As far as I can see the right were the only ones taking guns to the rally.

Your jobless rate is down, a bit, and who can say whether or not that was from this administration, or the policies, still working, of the previous?

As for the headlines on Trump: well why not?  Unlike him they are not lying and no amount of him tweeting "Fake news" makes them any less honest, or him more so.  They have oversight to stop them lying,he has been caught out by accident.

Christian values?  Don't make me laugh!  Jesus preached love, understanding, forgiveness and equality.  He did not judge anyone, except the moneylenders making a profit from religion at the cost of hardship to the poor = just like Trump's business dealings.  Caling yourself a Christian like he professes does not make you one.

You said about families:  "We need that back. Not figuring how to take care of the fatherless families which is crushing our economy and mommy out working not able to raise her children. This doesn't work. It hasn't for 10,000 years and it won't now. We need to get back. "  When it comes to raising children, they need love and time and care.  There is no gender/sexual distinction here.  Many "straight" couples have failed to provide this, and many have delivered judgments on children who did not meet their steriotypical values as well.  As for the fatherless ones, who increased the abortion controls?  Personally, I could never have one but denying it to other people means children born into loveless, fatherless situations.  I knew a young lady many years ago, before her suicide attempts, who was never adopted from her children's home as a child.  She never recovered from her rejection.  No one should face that.  She would have relished adoption by a gay couple.  She chose death as preferable to being an unwanted child.

Hilary had nothing to do with this argument.  Why bring her up?

This is my favorite of your statements:  "You know - people who work don't have of time to protest. People who dedicate their lives to others and try to better our society as a whole, not just their race or group, have happy, fulfilled lives, money to spend and a place to live."  So how did the Alt-Right get there?  Did they astrally project from their offices?  Or did they teleport in their coffee breaks?

America has been shamed.  You were right about that.  But, it is Trump who was regarded as a laughing stock internationally.  We have (mostly) stopped laughing - now we are worried about the next Hitler in our midst.  The racisim Herr Trumpenfuhrer displayed, and is still displaying, is the most shameful part of all.

I should also have said:  You claim to value the freedom of speech, but then verbally attack the left-wing protestors for exercising it, the press for encouraging it and anyone who speaks up against "Our Glorious Leader" including current* respected members of the Republican party not to mention past Republican Presidents.

The whole point of free speech is that it is free,.  That means pointing out what you disagree with, even when it goes against the party line.  That is both a right and a civic/moral duty!

Though I find Trump's racism disgusting and have many areas within which I disagree with him, he is entitled to hold, express and act upon those views.  However his attempts to disguise distort and deny the speech of others is the most heinous of his acts.  Calling anything which takes an alternative line, even when backed by proof, "fake news" is a symptom of that; so is accusing protestors for the "other side" names.

Well I have news for you Trump and your strumpetts.  There are still a few Americans who can think for themselves . They and the rest of the world can weigh up the actual facts as well.  "You can't fool all of the people all of the time." and we have heard the line "If you are going to tell a lie tell a big one." before too.  The media may not be trusted completely, but you make it look like gospel.

I have just seen Trump pontificating about the vandalism of the left wing towards the confederate statues in the south.  He just did it again.  He drew a parallel that did not exist saying what next statues of Washington or Jefferson.  There is no comparison.

For what it is worth I think the statues should stay undamaged and the vandals are just that, vandals.  The period in history commemorated by those statues was very different from today.  What we now know to be wrong was not understood by the Confederates.  Those men died fighting for what they believed in.  I believe they were wrong, as I think all civilized people do today.  But courage needs to be celebrated even when it is misguided.    They fought for their country and their families after all.  Even if you do not share that opinion, you still can't change history.  Removing the statues will not return one dead slave to life or liberty.  Hiding it just helps it to be repeated.  You can't learn a lesson you don't remember.

However you see the statues, the "Left" attack them because they see them as symbols of hate.  Washington and Jefferson have no place in that deplorable floccinaucinihilipilification.  It is disingenuous to make such a comparison.

Now I know how Trump became President of the Largest democracy in the free world.  Scum floats!

David Frankham, the 91 year old British character actor from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s who might be best remembered for playing Lawrence Marvick, the tragic designer of the USS Enterprise, on Star Trek: The Original Series, recently posted a stunning response to Donald Trump on his Facebook page.

Many of us can condemn Nazis and Hitler in hindsight, in the abstract, but I’m afraid there are probably few left who can rebut Trump with the moral authority of having actually lived under attack from genuine Nazis.

I feel no inclination to unite with people who proudly wear the same symbol that was painted on the airplanes that dropped bombs on me and my family in London every night in 1941.

I feel no inclination to come together with people who wear the same symbol as those who caused the family six doors down from us to be vaporized one night, replaced by a giant crater …

... who dropped the incendiary bombs which, as a teenager, I patrolled our school with a bucket of sand to find and put out …

... and who tattooed a number on the arm of my BBC colleague, Renata, who told me in 1948 that she would have been next in line for extermination, but for the end of the war.

Unlike our President, apparently, I have no problem naming and condemning Nazis.”

One of the biggest problems is we are seeing more and more violence in the streets and people applauding that violence. That terrorist attack in Spain - it will not be long before the battleground for ISIS is here and while we are arguing and fighting - there will be a nuclear attack and a loss of life in a major city making 9-11 look pale in comparison.

I realize I can write what I feel and see what I see - but I cannot change people's minds who do not see the danger in the division of America. Just as I predicted the Pandemic and had people clapping each other who said that it was a joke and then it spread around the Planet.

What is happening is very serious. It is taking attention away for the issues and problems that are much more important.  Congress is not doing its job they are so wrapped up in the soap opera and Democrats more interested in getting re-elected than the survival of our country.

Personally, my days on this planet are numbered. I am only a few weeks from an operation I may or may not survive.  I have a 10 year old son who cannot even go to school things are so bad and dangerous and only a few miles away from me is Salinas where the murder rate is bad and like Chicago.

The ones I love are losing their health care in this mess and vital services are being denied to them - dialysis which is keeping them alive - is not covered. I am about to lose another person who I was about to marry.

Perhaps it is fine for the armchair warriors to go on about things, but some of us who are old and veterans are watching as groups take over and many of us who are disabled wouldn't last five minutes on the streets.

When I am gone - and it is a sad posting in AFT - and these issues become worse - when the President is assassinated and there is chaos and the violence from both sides are at war in the streets and the police won't go in because it is just too dangerous - then people will understand.

My father died in 1999 and never got to see the year 2000 on December the 26th the day after Christmas. He was not here to see 2001 - 9-11 I was not a Space Odyssey - it was the beginning of the Al Qaeda - and then spying on every American and the end to privacy.

Perhaps many people find all of this humorous. I don't.

This cheering is going to result to some crazy person arming themselves and shooting our president.  It won't result in a Democrat being in office and the VP Mike Pence reflects most of Trumps values and policies. In fact, it will be worse for the Democrats because they won't be able to ridicule and make fun of Pence as they do Trump.

It will be judgement day.

I will be with my ancestors - but you all will still have to deal with this as well a very real threat from North Korea which will set off a war. As well not one but 2 Pandemics - maybe 3 will sweep the planet at once.. not if, but when.

These sweeping generalizations have no basis if facts. This merely the echo of the media who have been saying Trump was failing since the day he was sworn in. The economy is thriving. The stock market went up not down today after all this drama. And we just squared off with North Korea who backed down on launching nuclear missiles on Guam.

Media won't touch it or any other good things that Trump has doing or is doing. They ranted through the whole election with their polls he was losing. They lied. He won. They said it would be a landslide for Hillary and as least in electoral votes, it was a big majority for Trump.

He has fulfilled many of his campaign promises and continues to try to do the best he can against a hostile press who cannot even cover the news accurately.

Now, more than ever we need Independent Real News.

Cancellation of Obamacare
Those were the first to jump to mind.  Nothing has happened with North Korea that did not happen under previous administrations, except KJU has increased his weaponry and reach.  The stock market is up and so are the employment figures, part of which is Trump's doing, part a leftover from Obama.  The dollar has taken a big tumble.  That is good for export and big business, but makes the people even poorer as your buying power has diminished.

"Make America Great Again." is my personal favorite campaign promise.  He has.  America has become a great laughing stock.  That is not a generalization.  It is a simple fact right across Europe.

This is an incredible misquote of the media of Bannon. In fact, it has been said imitation if the most sincere form of flattery - and I am flattered as I continue to try to get The Real News - CWN on video. It is already online on Facebook and the website.

CNN still can't get their ducks in a row. What did Bannon say exactly? First if you keep misspelling America I will get you confused with a terrorist who used to write me and tell me they were going to nuke Seattle which they almost did in Cave of Darkness. His spelling was Amerika - and he claimed to be the real deal. Where are you from that you can't even spell America?

Now back to Bannon:

Ousted White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon returned to the conservative Breitbart News website on Friday and said he’ll be “going to war” for President Donald Trump, vowing to intensify the fight he has waged against opponents of his brand of populist conservatism.

“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents -- on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon told Bloomberg News Friday in his first public comments after his departure was announced.

What exactly is confusing about this? He going to war for Trump against his opponents. Perhaps English 101a should be required for all U.S. citizens.

Once again the media is off on a rant and they can't even find new news on the weekend and keep reprinting the same news stories.

So today a conservative group peacefully demonstrated in Boston. They had to cut it short after a social justice warrior (one of 15,000) grabbed an elderly lady holding an American flag and threw her on the ground.

Another article covers the number of token blacks in the Democratic party.

You realize of course Republican does not equal Nazi or White Supremacist and they are not all old farts living two lives and with their sheets on at night -burning crosses and terrorizing blacks.

No, some are a group who think the racism is now coming from what was the minorities as well as cop killers and the Children of Anarchy who want chaos  and love a good demonstration to smash and break things and beat up elderly women.

How noble.

Freedom of speech. I have posted that after an almost government take over of minorities, especially in the presidency, there would be a rebound. Many would have, not the least Obama, wanted to see him in a third term. In fact, the setting up of the Ebola situation with a new way to declare a national emergency and revert back to martial law and call off the elections was a strategy in place.

If it could have worked, they would have done it. You know in history, the government has never given back power. Once they have invaded our privacy and freedom, it never reverts until there is a revolution. Of course, people like Jefferson said the there would be revolutions to sustain at least the Republic. The founding fathers never thought a democracy would work.  This would put power in the mob who would pass never-ending laws to pay them money from the government until it was broke.

We are on the verge of that now. If we don't raise the debt ceiling the government will be shut down.

People who go on about free speech - ie. S.J.W. - social justice warriors - do not want the conservatives to utter a syllable. They are not about free speech. They are about being heard with no real solutions except violence and assassination as a policy.

So we are all watched daily on our phones, in here, from cameras at intersections, even with our infrared images and some being harassed by ultra sound and microwaves.

All since 9-11 - All in the name of protecting us with a gene data base that is huge and the desire to use massive spying to take away all right of privacy in a climate of fear and suspicion.

What is the greatest enemy? The press.  And it is controlled by the same forces and special interests and big money - while the common people think it is for them. It is not. It is all about money and those without it - support them as they pedal yellow journalism and Jerry Springer drama.

It is mostly lies.

So, as I try to set up "The Real News" - have been for 3 years - Looks like Bannon did some simple addition and left the White House (creating his own demise) to go make a ton of money doing Independent News.

Well - good luck Bannon. It won't belong before some left wing crazy is waving your head in the air on some video using special effects and calling you a Nazi. Waiting for the book Bannon - I was a hostage of the S.J.W. and the Scientologists freed me and took me to Australia.

Sigh.

Wish we could go back to Kansas, Toto - we are sure not there anymore.

I am WELL aware of what Bannon said
I read it multiple times
Bannon is going to be one of Trumps worst enemies in the end
WHY?
because Bannon has his own agenda
this is obvious
his use of Trump was only a means to an end
Trump is his "useful idiot"
a mere tool,a puppet
Bannon is truly an evil person
that is becoming more and more obvious as time passes

and do I really need to explain the difference between AMERICA and AMuRIkA ???

Yes, you do. As I work in software engineering designing Virtual Reality for World of Twine - my engineers get real ticked over words with no definitions. Have grown up for 69 years now - just had a birthday - I am rather used to America.

I did notice the stocks went up after he fired Bannon. Obviously there does need to be housecleaning still when people there are selling top secret data to the media for money. They probably should have sacked everyone and brought in new people.

The media would be laughable but it is so dangerous to people who just believe it. They have these headlines which are not supported by the content - and yes - some people just look at the pictures - get on the phone - or worse get a gun or some type nasty thing to hurt someone with - and head out as a result of the pure lies and fabrication.

There is no self-check on the media. There are rarely any fines unless the mistake can be proved to be "intentional and criminal or slanderous". Even then they retract they are rarely punished.

Perhaps what we need more than Anarchy - which seems to be a new hobby for millions - is simply the truth on events happening around the world. All these would be "save the world" people can help tell it with real time smart phones and video. Trump trumps the media with his tweets. It is an amazingly effective tool to say exactly what he wants to say with having it misquoted.

Unfortunately there is the issue of knowing when to wait to speak and have all the data. In our world, once something is out there - it's out there. You can delete it from Facebook - you could somehow get it off where you posted it - but someone has already made a copy - or has a log running on your machine or a keylogger (I just removed 3 very illegal ones from my computer).

People seem to want to read about violence, murder, and sex. We know they want to watch it in the videos - with two dozen murders in an average action film or video.  Why are we so entertained by death. If there was no market for terror and hatred - it would end. People would not do it for free.

Republican meant somewhat right wing and sensibly business orientated. Those with a brain which ruled their hearts found a home there.

Not any more.  Trump's far-right attitude, his nepotism, his careful selection of advisers who made Atilla The Hun look like a soft hippy from the far left and his inability to stop digging when half buried, his manipulation of the truth and silencing of dissent, have made some Republicans rethink their positions and has tarnished its reputation with the middle-ground-floating-voter.  Now it is seen as the Nazi party by many.  The sooner they "dump Trump the chump", the sooner they will regain the trust of the currently horrified.  I sincerely hope the damage is not permanent, as too much left-wing politics bankrupts a country often within a decade; and that will be the next swing if the damage is not curtailed.

"So today a conservative group peacefully demonstrated in Boston. They had to cut it short after a social justice warrior (one of 15,000) grabbed an elderly lady holding and American flag and threw her on the ground."  Where do you think the drivers for behavior as this comes from?  No, I am not applauding this either, it is horrible!  I am asking if you can see why it happened.  Yes!  American flags now raise anger - IN AMERICA!  That did not happen a year ago.  It is happening now - under Trump!

Yes, Med, racism comes from black and ethnic minorities.  Steriotyping, which leads to some racism, is a natural human behavior pattern.  It helped our ancestors survive, by automatically classing all leopards as killers - after one ate a relative.  But, there is the same racism from "white" people too  for exactly the same stupid simian reasons.  That leaves the human race with three choices:

#! Fight to the death with the surviving color ruling the ashes,  We will probably go on to fight over eye or hair color next so: "hello extinction!"
#2 Muddle along with some clashes as we do now.  Sooner or later there will be a Hitler or another genocide, maybe even Trump will cause it, but we will survive, even if we never sleep a whole night through again because of the guilt.  Hey!  Maybe we can piss the other sides off enough to turn the tables and become the underdog for a while; until they turn it back again by hanging strange white fruit.
#3 Try and overcome our baser instincts and live together peacefully.  We already control our murderous urges our sexual urges and many of our other simian weaknesses.  That is the point of civilization.  It makes life nicer, easier and much, much longer.

As option #3 is the only civilized one, the only desirable one and the only Christian one, perhaps we should all make an effort to suspend judgments based on race or creed alone.

You can water the racism tree or prune it.

Put your bucket away, Med!

As CNN plays Gotcha on Trump's visit to Texas.

It was rather reminiscent of a husband who sacrifices his life for his wife, and after 50 years of working hard and making her his world, she might say "but Harry - you never told me you loved me that much."

"My life did," Harry said.

So, CNN has a bone which they are waving in the air. Trump did not state anything about caring or compassion for the the victims of the storm in Texas.

This will likely have a flag on it in hours and Washington Post has also picked it up along with continued showing a picture of Melania trump in high heels in the rain which was taken in another state than Texas. She wore tennis shoes as they arrived.

The FBI will not release information on Hillary Clinton's huge crime of compromising of United States security with her email scandal because "it is not in the interest of the American public to do so".

Go to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

She is beyond the law.

Obama golfed as people drowned in Louisiana and the new proven bogus video of him helping in Texas as "The President"went viral on the Internet.

http://freedomdaily.com/obama-pretends-president-texas-flood-victims-backfires-saw-else/" rel="nofollow - http://freedomdaily.com/obama-pretends-president-texas-flood-victims-backfires-saw-else/

God help us all if Trump gets any credit for even trying to help in Texas and will help. It is not the job of a president to go around hugging people and holding babies. This is politics - it is grandstanding and incredibly fake. I don't see Hillary going on twitter expressing her sadness and compassion for those in Texas. Not a single democrat in New York or California so far has said much about Harvey.

Nope - they are too busy trying to convince the public that Trump is crazy and should be impeached and we should become socialist and open our borders to everyone as the jobs flow outward as well as our money to other countries.

So far not a single celebrity I have read about has said thing one about Texas. No heartfelt compassion or even assistance.

It won't revive their being forgotten as they age badly and need to keep reminding everyone what they have done.

FEMA was dead in the water during Katrina - and we have another Katrina coming in a few days in Louisiana. Prevention is worth a pound of cure and getting the agencies together to help people get food, power, and a place to stay is more important than expressions of pity with nothing to back it up.

A starving person would say - I don't want your pity - I need your help.

New Yorkers are not that fond of Texans or the South. Neither are Californians. Their primary interest is their own cities, their immigrant population, and not improving the economy or caring about other parts of the U.S. Not all - but many - only care about themselves.

People are too busy beating people up and calling everyone racist to show some genuine compassion for a state that has had a storm of biblical proportions and the press way too obsessed with negating any positives on Trump with stories of "the investigation continues" while Hillary did not even get a slap on the wrist for treason and never will.

She was above the law. Bill Clinton was above the law. Their organization sold favors for money to enemies of the U.S. and made hundreds of millions of dollars (as is Obama is now) while professing to care about the poor.

They never did.

It is unlikely the mainstream media will ever change. That is why we desperately need Independent News and an effort to find out the truth.  It will emerge and finally just as Twitter does- move around all the controlled political complex and companies that control data in the world and give you the truth - the real news.

Ps, No one is above the law. Bill Clinton was impeached after all.  But the very rich and powerful can sometimes put it off a while.  That is why Trump is vastly rich while the people he ruined with repeated bankruptcies may never recover.  Now he is in control of the appointment of the most senior judges, political advisors and the head of the FBI.  That should hold the law off for a while.

This got buried in the visit of Trump to Texas, but he was in the business of spreading lies when he met with the Finnish President on Monday.

To make it look that he was a great President for getting trade deals, Trump claimed a successful sale of "a large number" of fighter planes to Finland, when the whole process is still in the bidding phase.

Needless to say that does not make Trump look good from our perspective.

Trump has always (dishonestly) nitpicked Obama’s economic numbers, but his attacks intensified after he announced his presidential run in the summer of 2015. Over and over he claimed that America’s economy was failing and that Obama was an incompetent buffoon for letting it happen. Well, we now have seven months of Trump economic data that we can analyze and compare with the 2015 Obama economy Trump so harshly criticized two years ago.

The https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth" rel="nofollow - final tally : first seven months of Trump — 1,189,000 jobs; the same seven months under Obama in 2015 — 1,547,000 jobs. That’s a difference of 358,000 jobs, or 51,000 per month. (Oh, and in case you’re a Trump supporter, the second number is higher.)

uh oh !!!

Not all quiet for Trump on the Russia front

http://www.newsobserver.com/opinion/op-ed/article171142372.html

The email went on, “I will get Putin on this program and we will get Donald elected. We both know no one else knows how to pull this off without stupidity or greed getting in the way. I know how to play it and we will get this done. Buddy our boy can become President of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putins team to buy in on this.”

LIAR LIAR THE PRESIDENT'S PANTS ARE ON FIRE LOL

So Trump was lying when he tweeted, shortly before his inauguration, that “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!” The truth is that in October 2015, on the same day he participated in a GOP candidates’ debate, he signed a letter of intent for the Moscow Trump Tower project.

That is a “deal,” and Trump’s hunger to keep it alive may explain his reluctance to say anything critical about Putin."

You must realize than number of posts do not equal truth. Most of all with the Left and Media are not capable of doing is focusing on what is important versus a daily attack on Trump which has gone on for more than a year.

It just doesn't matter.

The administration is not collapsing. Trump will not be impeached. He had no connections with Russia which could  be proved sufficient enough to put him in jail, while Hillary certainly broke so many laws and threatened our national security and was forgiven even before the investigation.

To this diatribe

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/diatribe

of Trump slamming posts -

The real news is the economy has been prospering but it is Congress's fault with a 10% approval rating that is the reason for the multiple-messes. Not what Trump ate for breakfast or what shoes his wife wears to hand out food to the Texas hurricane Harvey victims.

The key part of making America better is handling the real issues which they have a little more than 3 weeks to do after their vacation in the middle of crises.

The rest of it...

You are missing the last part.
"which could  be proved sufficient enough to put him in jail"

If anything could be proved without generating a lot of false evidence it would have been by now. It is a witch hunt and has been.

If we were billionaires, which we are not - at least for now - it would be impossible to know or even control everything done by everyone working for us. I am sure I have talked to terrorists in my life who were planning to blow up Seattle or New York and that doesn't make me a terrorist.

As far as the truth bubbling to the surface, the Social Justice Warriors and Democrats who had a disastrous election with a loser candidate and lost cannot accept it.  There are far more dark sinister Hillary truths and corruption as they sold pay for play to foreign governments.

You want some real news and real facts. Hillary lived in, thrived in, and was part of the creatures in the swamp which had no regard really for anyone and just wanted to get in office. Go over this - and this is known now and has been suppressed by the "fake news".

It is not the number of posts that communicates - it is the number of people reading them. I am truly non-partisan and able to evaluate things without party bias. It has been a long road for me on AFT over many years in an effort to post on disease and now reluctantly on politics.

My last post on the true danger we as Americans face of an EMP attack comes at a time when intelligence continues to not predict the speed accurately of how North Korea is developing and will develop and advance nuclear weapons.

Over the years I have had my threads attacked and often flooded with posts having nothing to do with the topic. Had I spent the time developing technology and selling it I have on AFT, I probably would be a billionaire myself by now.

However, during the Pandemic and before it, I felt people were being misinformed by the CDC and government and needed to prepare for what is "not if but when". The Pandemic came after I predicted it would and I was linked in cyberspace and watched it as it was announced and posted it here on AFT.

On many, many threads I have been the first to post - on outbreaks - on the stock market - on climate - and many issues which in a few weeks made national headlines - as North Korea has - and are vitally important to our survival as a human species.

It has been said, "if you can't take the  punches, get out of the ring" and that I will never do as long as I have the ability to make a difference in our world - and I believe in my life I have.

Credibility is something I have rarely seen any politician achieve and I am no politician nor do I want to be.

Yet, the truth is the truth. I have nothing to gain money wise, life wise or in any way from what I post.

I have looked at the media and in my deepest mind and heart am sure that you - all of you deserve more than the media continues to put out there. In so many cases, it is pure myth.

I will not be here forever. My days are limited. I have a condition which cannot be fixed because I am not stable enough to survive the surgery and am recovering from a serious heart attack on August 22, 2017.

When I am gone, I hope you will remember my fierce struggle to bring the real news to the world, and someone will carry on what I have started.

So I think the kompromat, if it's taken place, has taken place very largely through Trump's own endeavors to raise money in all sorts of dark places. And together, all those efforts amount to a self-compromising activity, which the Russians have embraced. I think they have him by the short hairs.

Sorry, Med.  Your posts are almost the most partisan on the site.  (I can think of a couple - one on either side - who are worse, but that puts you in the #3 slot.)  This is not to say you are not valued.

For me, the jury has been out until now about Trump's alleged collusion with the Russians.  I never doubted that the Russians wanted it and tried their best to achieve it.  That does not mean they succeeded.  His own protestations of innocence mean zip.  Everyone would make such a plea in his shoes and he is an inveterate liar.  I am certain of that.  That still does not make him guilty, it just makes it very likely his is.

I never doubted that Hilary told a few porkies either.  Though on balance I think her's are smaller and less frequent.  That is not said in her defense, it is said in condemnation of him.

I agree we are worth more than the media tells us, that is why every single one of us is a researcher for AFT, but the slightly slanted media is more accurate than some of the sources out there and just finding stuff is not enough.  A bit of discrimination and verification is needed too.

Hilary by the way IS old news.

I cannot see impeachment happening within the first year of office.  I have a growing sense of certainty that it is going to happen eventually, but far more proof is needed before the wheels start to roll.  - I have heard the engine cough a few times and the breaks are rather ineffective,  Though Trump seems to be stamping on them.

The report also alleged that the internal Russian intelligence service (FSB) had developed potentially compromising material on Trump, to include details of “perverted sexual acts” which were arranged and monitored by the FSB.  Specifically, the compromising material, according to this entry in the report, included an occasion when Trump hired the presidential suite at a top Moscow hotel which had hosted President and Mrs. Obama, and employed prostitutes to defile the bed where the President had slept.  Four separate sources also described “unorthodox” and embarrassing behavior by Trump over the years that the FSB believed could be used to blackmail the then presidential candidate.

"

The report stated that Russian President Putin was supportive of the effort to cultivate Trump, and the primary aim was to sow discord and disunity within the U.S. and the West.  The dossier of FSB-collected information on Hillary Clinton was managed by Kremlin chief spokesman Dimitry Peskov.

Subsequent reports provide additional detail about the conspiracy, which includes information about cyber-attacks against the U.S.  They allege that Paul Manafort managed the conspiracy to exploit political information on Hillary Clinton in return for information on Russian oligarchs outside Russia, and an agreement to “sideline” Ukraine as a campaign issue.  Trump campaign operative Carter Page is also said to have played a role in shuttling information to Moscow, while Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, reportedly took over efforts after Manafort left the campaign, personally providing cash payments for Russian hackers.  In one account, Putin and his aides expressed concern over kick-backs of cash to Manafort from former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, which they feared might be discoverable by U.S. authorities.  The Kremlin also feared that the U.S. might stumble onto the conspiracy through the actions of a Russian diplomat in Washington, Mikhail Kalugin, and therefore had him withdrawn, according to the reports. I agree with you Hillary is old news and trying to stay important. She is no longer a viable candidate ever for anything after her loss.

This morning - while not happy with the world still - I think I have a clearer prospective. Trump is working with the Democrats against the Republicans to save the economy.  After all, he is a pragmatist and a businessman first. The budget must be fixed or the government will be shut down and that simply is not okay on Trump's watch. The Democrats will have fuel for another 6 months of blaming Trump.

If you watch the stock market, it has rebounded. Amidst all the nastiness of the mainstream, investors still know regulations are being lifted and they can run their corporations without the fear of being choked to death.

One large portion of the dossier is crystal clear, certain, consistent and corroborated. Russia’s goal all along has been to do damage to America and our leadership role in the world. Also, the methods described in the report fit the Russians to a tee. If the remainder of the report is largely true, Russia has a powerful weapon to help achieve its goal. [...]

Further, the Trump Administration’s effort to lift sanctions on Russia immediately following the inauguration seems to mirror Orbis reporting related to Mr. Cohen’s promises to Russia, as reported in the Orbis documents.  A June 2017 https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-administrations-secret-efforts-ease-russia-sanctions-fell-short-231301145.html" rel="nofollow - Yahoo News article by Michael Isikoff described the Administration’s efforts to engage the State Department about lifting sanctions “almost as soon as they took office.”  Their efforts were halted by State Department officials and members of Congress.  Following the inauguration, Cohen was involved, again with Felix Sater, to engage in https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/19/us/politics/donald-trump-ukraine-russia.html?_r=0" rel="nofollow - back-channel negotiations seeking a means to lift sanctions via a semi-developed Russian-Ukrainian plan (which also included the hand delivery of http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/what-happened-to-the-michael-cohen-ukraine-dossier" rel="nofollow - derogatory information on Ukrainian leaders) also fits with Orbis reporting related to Cohen.

A slew of other revelations has directly tied many of the key players in the Trump campaign – most notably Paul Manafort, Carter Page, Michael Cohen, and Michael Flynn – who are specifically mentioned in the Orbis reports to Russian officials also mentioned in the reports.  To take one example, the first report says that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was responsible for Russia’s compromising materials on Hillary Clinton, and now we have reports that Michael Cohen had contacted Peskov directly in January 2016 seeking help with a Trump business deal in Moscow (after Cohen received the email from Trump business associate Felix Sater saying “Our boy can become president of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putin’s team to buy in on this.”).

what was that last part again "

Sorry carbon20 you think Trump is in be with the Russians but I do not think that so your premise that you made above is not true because it comes from your bias.

Nothing is free health or education. It costs the American people who work hard for their money. When I see people begging on American street saying will work for food and they are standing in front of a Help Wanted sign something is wrong with this picture. We have plenty of social programs to help the poor and plenty of jobs to go around but people do not want to work when they can live off the American people.

I just think Flumom that the state should look after the health and education of it's citizen's,it makes for a stronger society, and if I have to pay taxes for that I'm happy to, even your government has been looking at the Australian model,it works well,it looks after the sick and if you want a private health insurance then you pay less Medicare level on your taxable income.i don't want a private health insurance, simply because when you get really sick the private companies stop your cover and you end up on the public system anyway....well that's how the private system works here, are you covered by insurance when you get to sick to pay? ,our education system is free, but you can choose to send your child to a private school and pay extra if you want ,when you go to university, you get a hecs loan off the government, that you have to pay back when your wages when you start full time work reach a certain amount.my daughter went through that system, and is now a university lecturer, all loans payed off,if think it's a great system.

And my bias goes along with the 50% of American people that disagree with Trumps polices...

Single payer systems work much better than people in the US are lead to believe, and insurance companies will fight tooth and nail to keep it that way and stop it happening here, carbon. I've experienced both systems, and would take single payer without hesitation. Paying extra so others have coverage presents no problems for me either. I don't understand why looking after each other is so widely demonized these days.

Elizabeth Warren Joins Kamala Harris in Co-Sponsoring Bernie's Landmark 'Medicare-for-All' Bill

However, Sanders is reportedly working with the same economists who drafted a revenue measure for the California Nurses Association’s single payer legislation, which proposed funding the gap between what all government healthcare programs now spend and paying for universal coverage through  http://www.alternet.org/economy/california-single-payer-health-system-can-cover-everyone-and-save-tens-billions-annually" rel="nofollow - two tax increases . They are: a 2.3 percent gross receipt taxes on businesses (after the first $2 million in earnings and exempting small businesses); and a 2.3 percent increase in the sales tax, with exemptions for basic necessities such as food, housing, utilities, and other services.

would you pay an extra 2.3% in sales tax for universal health care ?

I sure as hell would

I would not swap our national health for the top grade private insurance, even if I won El Gordo.  Carbon has it right; you end up falling back on the state when things get nasty.  Better to fund good state healthcare in the first place, fund it well and cut out the money-making, system-milking middle-men.

We may not get private rooms, TV, gourmet meals and flashy designer decor, smart uniforms or even staff who call me Madam.  We may spend all day in the hospital waiting room occasionally.  But, our life expectancy beats that of the US = HANDS DOWN!  Our/Australia's way is far better.  What more proof could you want?  Or does the TV mean more than the people?

Ps.,  Over the course of my life, which is fairly average, I have paid an average of only about $1,000 a year for this.  I am retired now, so by the time I finally die it will work out at only about $5/600.

Having been a millionaire (twice) hubby has paid 10 times that at his peak.  That still works out as less than most US insurance.  Where do you think the rest of your money goes?  THE POCKETS OF THE HEALTHCARE INSURERS/PROVIDERS and MIDDLE-MEN of course!

You are complicit in the con you are all suffering from.

This is old news and they have been going on about since March. No matter what his campaign manager did or do not do, that does not prove Trump had knowledge of it or was working with the Russians.

Satori - I do not consider you a valid poster because you have no info on your profile as to your origin. You are posting anonymously and that really put a hole in you credibility.

I have sent you a personal note asking you to tell me your country of origin which you ignore.
Perhaps I am missing something here. Obviously your view are representative of who you work for or where you are from.

ClapClapClapClapClapClapClapClapClapClapBack to reality.

Sometimes I feel I can make a difference. So while you are all applauding each other - today - CNN put out

The Real News

way to go CNN!

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/05/opinions/trump-harvey-response-was-perfect-opinion-stanley/index.html

Hurricane Harvey was a revelatory moment in the early presidency of Donald J. Trump. We got a glimpse of Trump without the cultural politics: Trump as he could be. As http://edition.cnn.com/2017/09/05/us/hurricane-irma-puerto-rico-florida/index.html" rel="nofollow - Hurricane Irma approaches, Congress http://edition.cnn.com/2017/09/05/politics/congress-trump-list/index.html" rel="nofollow - returns and North Korea http://edition.cnn.com/2017/09/05/asia/north-korea-icbm/index.html" rel="nofollow - shakes its nuclear fist -- this is the Trump the world needs. Competent and disciplined.

comment: It is to put all this bickering behind and focus on what is important and what is needed by America. Trump is our president and has handled Hurricane Harvey well.

Even Washington Post had this to say -

https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/house-set-to-vote-today-on-harvey-aid-package-that-would-also-raise-debt-ceiling/2017/09/08/728ddce8-9494-11e7-8754-d478688d23b4_story.html?utm_term=.197cf9c2d64b

President Trump signed a bill Friday to deliver $15 billion in disaster aid and also extend government funding and the federal borrowing limit until Dec. 8, despite objections of Republican lawmakers who booed two top White House officials earlier in the day over the deal Trump struck with Democrats.

The measure passed a morning House vote 316 to 90; every member opposed was a Republican.

There are two parties and Trump went to the Democrats so they could not only pass help for the storm but also get enough money in so the government will stay open past the end of the months.

We need to focus on what is important versus what is not. I was amazed today to go through FoxNews and not see a single Trump hater story - not even CNN. They removed the story from one actress who said the storm coming "Irma" was a curse from God because Trump one.

It is time for the real news - and even more so - for us in America - most of us love our country and want to see things get better. We want the economy to improved, know we are protected against nuclear missiles launches and feel our leader is a tough negotiator and after all - beyond what is heart felt - America is a business - and it is time we got back on track.

People are getting bored with all the Trump haters. That is what is getting old fast and people outside of America who have chuckled as we stumbled and nearly lost our place as the greatest country in the world.

It will be good to see us in charge and leading the pack once more - as we deserve to be. God Bless America!

I will change my opinion on Trump when:
He makes policies to help the little guy - instead of the oligarchs
Stops being a climate change denier - whilst his country is battered to oblivion by repeated hurricanes from an extra warm sea
manages to present a unified approach to NK
Stops blaming other nationalities for his country's problems
Treats any woman who is not a blood relative like a human being
Tells the truth
Uses a whole - gramatically correct - sentence.

I would be delighted to see 4/8 of the above
As for applause?  When I appreciate a post by someone else, not myself.

I have got many over the last ten years. I think lately - is the only time in all that time I have ever posted one in confidence.

In life, being liked, being approved is not always equal to being a good, compassionate person, or even successful.

But above all honesty.

Uses a whole - gramatically correct - sentence.

and can spell.
should be grammatically - that counts as well.
