There should be a lesson here for Dodgy dealing Republican political manipulators. Get caught and your party will throw you to the wolves, without the faintest trace of remorse. Come clean now - because you are on your own. Before you get smug, all you Democrats, Trump is probably the worst the other side have displayed, Hilary is probably not the worst on your side. I was horrified by how fast Manafort was abandoned by his party. Not because I like, respect or trust him, I think him utterly reprehensible, but because he was instrumental in the success of the Trump campaign. In my book you defend your own. I have no doubt that the extent of his duplicity was known, but condoned, or at least ignored, because he was so useful. I was horrified, but not surprised. The epidemic of hirings and firings at the White house is a symptom of a far deeper sickness. People just don't matter. Certainly not when compared to the great God money. The sickness is currently beyond treatment. You have to admit there is a problem before you can address it. No national health service. Widesread use of the Death penalty. I know we have not seen eye to eye on everything, Satori. But you sure hit the nail on the head with this one:
I have Google alerts set for infectious disease outbreaks and a dozen or so related topics. I do not post them all. After I have weeded out the computer viruses, contagion games and Outbreak fiction stories I read what is left and if it comes from a reputable source I post it. If it comes from some loony on youtube, or a tabloid paper I have a search to see if it appears anywhere else before using the material. I wish more people got that point.
