I've had a lot of training in WMD, including nerve agents such as Sarin and VX.
One of the acronyms we learn for exposure to nerve agents is "SLUDGEM", standing for:
- S = salivation
- L = lacrimation
- U = urination
- D = defecation
- G = gastrointestinal distress
- E = emesis (vomiting)
- M = mitosis (constricted pupils)
This was an interesting news bit about the presumed VX assassination of Kim Jong Un's half brother with VX nerve agent:

From a preparedness point of view, folks like me are very concerned because of countries like Syria, who are documented to have produced TONS (and tonnes) of nerve agent for use against their own citizens. It would not take much of this material to mount a terrorist attack in a major city.
